We need to rest players here, we do not want any injury before Roma game. West Brom humiliated united yesterday it's not going to be easy,

don't agree. we need to just go do the job.

keep the team going rest and recovery. thats the best way.

we have no options tbh. I would rather rest players if needed v stoke after securing the 3 points than have to go chase 3 v stoke as its gone tits up.

    FOr me

    a) we've little option at the back. If lovren has a knock clearly he can't play. so thats vvd and klavan in.

    b) clyne is a real option at RB but is injured a bit. who knows how bad... again .. TAA must then start. it'd be nice have the choice but we don't.

    c) Moreno v robertson.. again moreno cried off injured. not sure whats what there.

    d) Midfield options. we have very few. milner v ox by the look of things. either way i guess.

    e) up front if anything we have clear picture form everton what changing forwards does. we will start with the big 3 and sub on the dirt (harsh but true this season at least) after 70mins.

We have a week to get ready. the job is to now win 2 games our of 4 if we do this its over.

we are on 70 points the max chelsea can get to now is 75 and that may weell be less by the time we play. we need 5 points as a +18 gd is not switching now.

win next game and we have total freedom v stoke to rest everyone and will only then need 2 points from 3 games or a draw v cheslea to take 4th.

If we want any more than 4th (3rd is certainly ours if we want it) then we must win them all.

I'm of the same mind. it's end of season and players are more susceptible to injury. If WBA are still in it they'll be busting their mince for every ball. I'm sure the prospect of another CL final would irk the Mancs more than the thought of taking 2nd off them.

Not a good thing. Teams often perform better once relegated; nothing to lose and shop window syndrome

West Brom is going to fight for every ball believing that they are an outsider to stay up. How they are going to do it don't know.

surely we need 4th not 2nd secured? or what about the options are solanke and ings again this time away to west brom?

they are 9 points from safety with 4 games to go, A loss and one point for swansea relegates them. we also play first so they will be piling in right enough.

I just can't see a team where we have scope to rest many at all.

WBA didn't exactly fight yesterday it was that the Mancs offered nothing in attack.

Then they took them for granted. The media jinxed united by saying that "if united loses city would be crowned champion"

We have a whole week off before the west brom game, then a few days before champions league. If we are going to rest players I think it would be for the stoke game

I can't see Chelsea catching us or Spurs. Making up seven points from five games? Not this Chelsea. Conte's going to be too busy clearing his desk. And we do have decent depth, so yes, time to use the bench a bit, especially for a match against bottom of the league. Reserves will have a bit of fight and want to get noticed for possible semi places.

    I agree not this lot.

spurs have an easy run in though.

    our depth though.

    bench last day:

Milner - could rest ox. or play both. i don't know.
Klavan - lovren might be injured
    Moreno - is he fit?
    Mignolet - who cares?
Ings - hasn't got game time at all
    Solanke - looked rusty.
Woodburn - only back from injury

Clyne might be back or not
    Can won't be
    Matip is out
    gomez ?

i'm not sure we will be able to rest a salah or firmino

Darren Moore West Brom caretaker manager would like to stamp his authority on the team after his famous win at Old Trafford. I think he would like the job on permanent basis.

next year in championship... there's plenty who would want a 6-12 month gig with a pay off at end

Don’t see all 3 of the front 3 playing.

I think Salah will play for the golden boot, but might rotate mane and bobby with Ings and solanke.

If Clyne, Klavan and Moreno are fit then play them.

    karius
    Clyne VVD klavan moreno
    milner hendo gini
    Salah Ings Woodburn

woukdbt mind Woodbury getting a game. Give forwards a rest but play him with some first team players so actually has a chance to make an impact.

Think Ox will play in home leg v roma where we will look to attack more so rest him at weekend.
