Don't be so sensitive. it's no wonder Ollie gets a bit prickly from time to time given that any decision he makes has fans either questioning his tactics, sanity, behaviour or long-term future and yet critics who are merely told that their posts are confusing and asked for an explanation get upset.
It's the way he is. I'm yet to see a post from him that isn't confrontational. Thoroughly disagreeable imo.
Shocking from the ref the last little while. Such a blatant body check on Eze (???) when breaking and nothing given then blows for a little push from us a minute later.
Real shame that as we I thought we could still win the B league within the Championship maybe we still can but PNE are the real deal in waiting
It was Eze. Commentators initial reaction was that''s a red, he gave us nothing all afternoon. The Ref didnt help but I thought we gave them those 3 points - surely we would have done better with Smithies, Freeman , Scowen and Pawel starting, and bringing on some of the youngsters when we were winning the game. Preston weren't that good.
Disappointing to get a lead and not hold it. Could have set us up for a reasonable attempt at getting into the top half. PNE haven’t got a great away record recently, so it would have been fair to expect us to have been able to take all three points. Definitely questions our depth and capability.
pretty awful match to be honest, ref atrocious & pne tactics abysmal & dirty, didn’t really create Mutch in 2nd half, huffed & puffed but no end product, they was nothing special but got the goals, should’ve started with team from Tuesday!
A very disappointing afternoon. The lead was not undeserved but given away in a sloppy manner just before half time. Always a bad time for your opponents to score as we proved at Fulham a couple of weeks back. After Ollie's double sub, we seemed to lose our shape. We were reduced to random long balls to Sylla who did not win (m)any of them. I did not have a good view of their second but it looked well worked. I thought the ref was having a decent game until about 70 mins when he suddenly decided he was a PNE fan and gave them everything and us not very much at all. Onwards and upwards but the only excitement that remains for us is not getting beaten by Brentford and maybe having a hand in Brum's fate on the last day.
The stupid c*nt just can't help it, if he had tactical acumen you could understand it but he hasn't got a f*cking clue. Don't be surprised if we finish the season on 53 points in a nosedive...
He has to give some of these guys a chance to show they’re good enough. Cousins and Ingram simply are not. Fortunately we have Lumley if Smithies goes and he sounds ready. We looked pretty good until the equaliser which was a result of an awful decision from Baptiste (otherwise good again) to come for a ball that was never his and create a huge gap for them. Ref was awful and painfully inconsistent and slow to pull them up on any of their various tactics. Very Alex Neil team.
