That's what is frustrating , he has obviously instilled some real belief in the squad , just a shame it is PROBABLY to little to late .

None of this is MH's fault , has anyone heard a peep from the board ?

    Anyone ..........

Another cruel cruel loss. The frustrating thing is if MH had come in sooner we may have stood a chance of staying up.

Dermot Gallagher has come out of this worse than anyone. He got the free kick incident completely wrong even with a replay.

He then says Mike Dean missed the Alonso red card because he was too close hahahaha

That was hard to watch. No way we should have lost that game. Not taking it away from Giroud, great player. Yes Alfonso should have gone but the players don't know what to do when the pressure comes on. They're incapable of controlling a game if they're not hoofing it forward or sitting in the box. And when you sit back against quality that's what you get. Gutted. Now we will win the semi final (not really, only kidding) and be relegated on the final day on goal difference after conceding 9 in our last 3 (not kidding).

Forgive me for getting pissed at conceding 3 goals in 8 minutes. Maybe I should have jumped for joy instead.

Leicester is the decider I believe. We have shown real fight against Arsenal and Chelsea (albeit still our ability to utterly implode as seen in the Chelsea game) and we need to carry this onto the easier games and take maximum points against Leicester, Swansea, Bournemouth.. potentially even a cheeky point against Everton.
We do have this awful habit of playing great against the bigger clubs and dropping our standard by ten-fold when vsing the 'lesser' teams so if we cock up against Leicester i reckon that is our season over. We may be 3 points adrift but I still am not convinced of our relegation until we have played and shown how we can play against the mid-table oppositions and pray that Crystal Palace decide to **** their britches for the remainder of the season. I know out Football was far from good this season but I will be so gutted if we go down instead of Crystal Palace.

I’ve had it. Dermot Gallagher has just said that perhaps Mike Dean was too close. **** off.

Referees stick together. They have no balls. Utter disgrace.

Wise, Le Tiss and Dalglish are all scoffing at Gallagher in the studio because it is a ****ing joke. Wise even thinks that Dean lets Chelsea bully him into taking the free kick ten yards from where it was.

    Useless tossers.

He will defend the ref regardless! How can he be too close to an incident?!

May as well have said Mike Dean missed it because his view was too good

Totally fair to get pissed off. People are just lashing out at you because they're pissed at the result. You're not wrong.

You need to control yourself a bit that’s all. If you can’t do that, step away from the forum while a game is going on.

I really don't see what the issue is with people getting caught up in the emotion of the game. It's a rollercoaster supporting Saints and never more so than in a game like this. Are we all supposed to react like robots? Emotions are high, we are given small crumbs of hope and they're quickly stolen back off us. We all love Saints, but we're all different and react in different ways. If you can react calmly then fine, great, good for you but I don't know why you think everyone should react the same. So as long as nobodies getting personal it's not a problem and to be honest the only people that are getting personal are the ones getting pissed off with the people that are pissed off with that 8 minute collapse.

I'm sure we are going to get relegated this season and it will not be the teams fault. Hughes has shown that we have the makings of a decent team but he hasn't got a chance of turning it around in time. The board will get us relegated by not sacking Pellegrino months ago.

I hate the concept of hoping that "results go our way." If SFC can´t do it under their own steam, then why should they rely on others to do it for them.
