David Pipe finally showing that something might have been passed on from the old man about getting one ready to land a big handicap.

Talking of how many places bookies are paying on the National, I find it criminal how many of them are only paying 1/5 the odds for a place. They make big adverts about paying 6 places but then only 1/5 the odds. Just playing the percentages.

Try this site red - takes you straight to the video replay and does not betray the result

    http://www.thejockeyclub.co.uk/video/

They already have the 2.25 replay up - at 2:50

Petit Mouchor 4/5 is surely the biggest steal in racing? Up against handicap plodders ffs

Mopping up in races where the real Grade 1 stars are missing - no Altior yesterday, no Footpad today. Fair play to him for getting his horses there fit and in top form though.

I wish Tom Lacey had one in the big un as it would have made selection much more straightforward. Lovely front running performance there from that young horse against some seasoned campaigners.

Far too much time between races at Aintree - no idea why they have planned it like this.

Thanks for the heads-up, another fine front-running win for Tom Lacey.

Another winner for Tom Lacey at Chepstow. 12 winners and 3 seconds from his last 22 runners. Some form that.
