I cannot see the photo part ever coming into play. This GDPR thingy coming into play in May will likely see City fooked. I dread to think what they've done with our personal data historically so the thought that they could do this in a fully compliant way just won't happen. I'm tempted to write and request what data they hold on me just to see what they respond with.
On another note, just got back from Holiday, I've checked my emails and my lad who had a season pass until the end of last season hasn't been given the opportunity to vote apparently this time, no email for him!! You can't make it up.

Maybe we should all contact them & request what details they hold on each of us.
This is the type of clever protest that would REALLY piss off ehab & it’s all legal.

They must be other ways we can apply this.... 10,000 applications for a corporate box, 10,000 enquiries for advertising.

Time for a new approach to protesting that doesn’t effect the team but crippled the internal running of the club

Guerilla warfare tactics. Time for a Ku Da Ta

I think the whole issue of data protection is something worthy of more detailed review. Some of the stories told on here indicate a really diverse use of data that often seems illogical. The problem with this is that whoever investigates for the review will be subject to the same regulatory constraints and that can be off putting for any part-time volunteer.

It does make me wonder that if their handling of data protection for Hull City Tigers Ltd is questionable, then how well would their other businesses stand up to scrutiny.

It would be interesting to read any informed views.

    Why I won’t be voting

The Hull City Membership Scheme has contributed to the rapid decline in attendances at the KCom stadium.
The club is now asking supporters to vote on whether to retain the current membership scheme or reintroduce a scheme with concessions for seniors and young people. The latter involves cross-subsidisation by increasing prices for adults and seniors to pay for the concessions. I regard this as flawed, divisive and unnecessary.
Neither of the pricing models, proposed by the club address the real issue facing a club that desperately needs to boost its fan base and greatly increase attendances.
The club seems totally unaware of modern dynamic pricing systems and their applicability to a club in our position. I would therefore suggest that a starting point would be to re-introduce significant concessions for young people whilst not making anyone pay more than they do now.
I feel the vote has been contrived in order to retain the status quo and will not solve any of the issues facing the club. I will therefore abstain from voting.

Pretty much the reason why many of us are not voting, as well as the club totally disregarding the first vote many of us undertook to take part in.

The second vote's a ****ing joke - I voted for concessions first time which means I don't get an invite / email about the second vote - The Trust should make a formal complaint about the number of people who haven't been invited to vote a second time - its tantamount to fraud

Didn't they say they would "start the process" on 2nd April? (or something like that)

Perhaps its a lot more complicated than we realise?...........................................

I have had months of reviewing my own companies and the OSC data processes.
I would not want to be responsible for any system that is not going to be compliant in May.
Scary stuff is data. Easy to get it wrong and always hard to get right.
My own view is that, if you use out of date information or do not maintain your database properly you are going to struggle.

<laugh> GPDR isn't a East European secret police, but it will be more of a problem for those who haven't prepared...

Have the trust heard anything from the club about the complaint about the second vote?
Thought the new marketing/pr bird was open to consultation?

They will go as points on your membership card. 500 points for £1 off a replica shirt and 5m points for a holiday to Portugal (the small print said 2000 points towards the holiday).

Exactly the same scenario for me. Could any one tell me the correct way to cancel my membership for next season ? I've emailed the club, no reply, and I've heard tales of people being chased through the small claims court for cancelling their standing orders.
What is the correct procedure ?
