The girl who filmed it appeared to condone the LFC supporters getting beaten up, on her original tweet she added laughing emoji's.<grr>

Ffs, the blue smoke bomb was set off at the opposite end to where our fans were.

There was loads of flares set off in the Olympic stadium during and after Roma beat Barca, seems they turn a blind eye to pyrotechnics used on mainland Europe.

Champions League: Man City boss Pep Guardiola and Liverpool charged by Uefa

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has been charged with improper conduct after being sent off during Tuesday's Champions League quarter-final second-leg defeat by Liverpool.

Governing body Uefa has also charged Liverpool after fireworks were set off and objects thrown inside Etihad Stadium.

    there was one red one.

it was quite late on and not really noticble but someone did get one in the ground and saved it til about 5 mins from end.

the blue one can be clearly seen in pics and somehow not charged.

It's a ****ing joke, either fine all clubs who's supporters use them or don't take it into consideration.

To be fair. Flares and such seem to have become inexplicably linked to Liverpool. We seem to set them off much more frequently than other clubs.

This could be a case of us doing it one too many times.

Maybe Uefa didn't actually see anything, they'd just read the British press saying ''Expect Fireworks at the Etihad'' <ok> :bandit:

Sometime it will be and we will get either a gorund closure or away fans ban.

These are supposedly highly trusted season ticket holders getting hands on these tickets who have gone to lots of prior CL games.

They know the score. theres no excuse but the attitude is no pyro no party.

eventually someones got to be banned totally or worse someone is injured badly for them to take note.

Fines on LFC are doing nothing to stop it. LFc are not getting stewards at home games to haul out guys and ban them for life. if we don't do it at home we certinyl don't stop it away.

I actually find away is a far more likely event for these.

There will in the end have to be a complete ban on carrying anything into away grounds with searches for every one of them WITH requiring be there 2 hours before game or no entry.

    Nobody wants that.

oh and sorry... we are not the most frequent. we are just the club from england thats most frequently and troublesome. they completely ignore stabbings, violence, flares, racism etc across eastern europe and italy.

Yeah, been happening for longer on the continent than our idiotic followers had used them, how ****ing big are they?, seems in this age of suicidal terrorism that a detector dog or search by police/stewards at the turnstiles is the simple answer, after all it could have just as easily been an explosive device instead of a flare/smoke bomb.

Uefa obviously never saw the red glow on the Olympic Stadium terraces in Rome last night, they must have all had their eyes on our game at City.

yup. numerous wrongs don't make a right but nobody is listening and clubs are not REALLY being forced to make changes to stop it. its being seen to do something but not do something stuff.

Some of this pyro is really dangerous and some are not as dangerous.
