Nope. Wasn't us!! I bet **** all was said on social media like it was with the bus incident Should city be punished or play behind closed doors then lol.
Thing is Tobes the coins and spit that come raining down into the away section should be easily spotted, the stadium and police are camera'd up bigtime, their stewards just turn a blind eye instead of acting like spotters for the police. When the you blues fan in his wheelchair was verbally abused and the down syndrome blues lad was told he should have been drowned at birth, there were City stewards with the families, even if the offenders were just thrown out of the ground it would be better than them just standing there doing **** all, after all aren't they employed by the club to(amongst other things)keep order?
Thought this was funny. “To be honest I was shouting a bit at half-time,” said Lovren. “I told the lads to wake up because it was not good enough and I said we were sitting too deep. “Of course, Klopp said 'Yes you are sitting too deep because you are not pushing up'. Best to shut up and let the manager talk sometimes.
The girl who filmed it must have been quite upset. You can't really legislate for these kinds of incidents - you surely don't need to say 'no fighting allowed'. A very good mate of mine invites and gets invited to a lot of the PL corporate boxes. When he was invited to City, the invitation came with an official letter including the words 'if you are a supporter of the away team, please don't celebrate at any point during or after the game'. Obviously if you're in a box at an away ground common sense tells you to tone it down but city is the only club ever to do that in an official capacity. Now we know why
I think common sense would dictate that if you're an LFC fan in the Man City home pens then just sit on your hands and smile, have a little fist pump to yourself but don't wind them up or do anything stupid or inflammatory. With that in mind the video doesn't show what 'celebrations' were going on But common sense also dictates that if you're a City fan and see LFC fans 'celebrating', whatever that is, in your pens, then you don't start beating them up. If they are doing something inflammatory then report it to the stewards and police Either way I have a strong feeling that half-wit idiots were involved in this
I feel a little guilty winning the second leg to be honest. We were not the better team. All things told though either our defense did their job or you offense didn't do there. If every shot on target by City went in, you'd still be out on aggregate. For all the domination in that first half, there wasn't much on target.
There certainly can't be many teams better than City. Are Real Madrid better? Haven't seen them for a while so can't judge. We certainly beat the best team in Britain and we know we're in a very tough league... Can we pull off an upset like that again.
they are one of the best teams arguably. Some teams just match up better against other teams and with City you've always bettered them in general for some reason. Likewise, their style of play plays to your strengths as well. Key for you guys is keeping that consistency and intensity no matter who you play and not to panic against the underdogs if you aren't suddenly winning
Obviously we missed the obvious: Horatius was still in Rome keeping the Catalan horde at bay. I hope Suarez enjoyed our victory.
Zinedine Zidane believes that La Liga is the best, most people believe that EPL: is the best. League is the yardstick. Real Madrid were unable to beat Tottenham home and away. Manchester city are very good, cup competition is a different matter. Now, I think that they are going to beat Tottenham on Saturday.
I don't, not at all. It was a tough game and we won it and the goals we scored were worthy of winning any match. We're so used to dominating possession in the majority of games - win, lose or draw - that when we come up against teams that can match us in that department there's a tendency to feel outplayed. We weren't, we just weren't dominant. We were under the cosh for a while but survived and fought our way back into the match.
