In the 'calm before the storm' period, prior to the start of Aintree, let’s have another round of Pointless Horse Racing. And to make it topical a Grand National Special. What, what?!? I’ve given 100 knowledgeable racing enthusiasts 100 seconds to name as many winning horses, winning jockeys and winning trainers of The Grand National in the last 30 years (1988 onwards) as they can. The winner will be the person, on the forum. who gives the first pointless answer. The most popular response, incidentally, was Lieutenant Henderson but amazingly he’s an incorrect answer. Note – The independent adjudicator has been given a list of the answers so that I can’t be accused of making it up as I go along.
