    Two top Punk Rock Lead Guitarists (both sadly no longer with us) were born on this day.
    Firstly, Stuart Adamson of Skids and Rock/New Wave band Big Country was born in Manchester in 1958 and later grew up in Dunfermiline. He was Co-Songwriter with Richard Jobson for Skids and Singer/Songwriter for Big Country..

    And Paul Fox of The Ruts/ Ruts D.C.was born in Bermondsey in 1951, he co-wrote and took over singing duties after original Frontman, Malcolm Owen died...




    He succumbed to lung cancer in 2007 aged 56.

    Fabulous voice. I never understood how she ended up being cast as Ann of Cleves in “The Tudors”. Ann was supposed to look like the back end of a horse, which Joss certainly could never be mistaken for!
