Back to the title of the thread(why do people have to derail threads and go off topic. So annoying).

Season ticket sales for next season will be interesting. A combination of if Duchatelet is still in charge/when we sell/what division we are in/how much tickets go for, I think these will be very attractive by the new owners.

4000 sold if Duchatelet in charge of a division 3 club. 5000 if we get promoted. 8-9000 with new owners regardless of what division we are in.

On the price front, I can't see any reason why season ticket prices should go up.
Granted they were reduced since the relegation as one of the incentives to boost sales, but I don't think any positives regarding the take-over or Lee Bowyer's early success are strong enough yet to tolerate a hefty price increase.

I would guess that prices will be frozen from 12th April, and possibly put up by a modest amount (10 to 15% maybe) if the Club achieves promotion back to the Championship. But this is pure guesswork.

Agree with that, if the Virus stays, around 4,000 ST sold, maybe less.

Not sure, if BowJack are still in charge next season then I can see that adding another 500 to 1,000 ST's even if the Belgian still owns us.

Because it's the same chat as previous years. I'm putting out a prediction. They spout about "new owners" and then people renew and then he don't sell or it falls through.

And then 5,000 odd people are like "**** I've been duped again. Might as well turn up and be passive aggressive in my protest by sticking it to the man, but he's already got my £££."

Don't be another brick in the wall people! REVOLUTION.

No offense to anyone who does renew, but Roland will be encouraged to play hardball by a large number of renewals.

Agreed. Imagine if noone renewed. A new owner might say "the club's worth £10mil, not £89mil."

And he'll sit there and cry tears into his ready brek when he realised he's squandered millions on utter ****. And it's hit him personally in his own pocket.

I assume most of us are happy right now with Lee Bowyer and Johnnie Jackson and their efforts to get Charlton back into the Championship.

If any of us, as Charlton fans, were able to ask Bowyer or Jackson whether they want us to renew our season tickets or not what would they most likely say?
And if they said yes, would we think that they are only saying yes because it's their duty as Roland Duchatelet's employees to say that?

In truth I don't know what they would say, I cannot put words into their mouths. But I am guessing they want as much support from Charlton fans as they can possibly have, in order to help make a return to the Championship more than just a slim hope.
As fans we might want them to succeed, but how far is each one of us willing to actually support them?

We might end up waiting for a better future that will never come, while the decline becomes so long that a dwindling generation of younger fans won't remember anything else. None of us wants that.

We all want a change of ownership, and what would make it more likely, 10,000 S/T sales or 1,000 S/T sales?

We all want promotion back to the Championship.

Ownership is politics. Promotion is football.
If we don't support our team, what right have we to complain if it fails?

It really pisses me off that 2/3 big gob supporters - Everitt being the main protagonist - can lead on and mislead thousands of Charlton fans.

We all want you to stop posting on the Apologist site. What would make that more likely, a tenner from Elfs or a free pint of FHB’s home brew ?

It's up to every supporter to support, or not support the team as they see fit. I am not criticising any Charlton fan for getting a Season ticket. It is my choice not to get a ticket while Duchatelet is still in charge. Does that make me a bad supporter?

Thousands of fans have returned to the Valley to support the team under Bowyer. That is what will help the promotion push
