It is shocking how much poorer we are when Rose and Aurier are rotated in as FB's. I know a few others were off form today but those two have had weeks to rest and sharpen up yet both are desperately short of where we need them to be. It is rare - aside from Sissoko - to see professional footballers seemingly incapable of basic things. Rose grows harder to shift in the summer with every passing game whilst Aurier simply saddens me. Don't think he'll ever be good enough for a side with title aspirations.

At least Poch feels the same way. Looks as though we'll see Davies and Trippier back for City then Dumb & Dumber in for Brighton then back to Ben and Kieran for the SF.

He's a very good keeper, been a key part of our recent success and capable of outstanding saves, but in recent times he is not 'way better' than either Robbo or Brad.
Unfortunately, for me those errors are becoming more frequent and his distribution has been dreadful far too often.
If you describe a great shot stopper, prone to poor distribution and the occasional howler, you're also describing Heurelho Gomes!! <laugh>
I think he is way better than Robbo and Brad

Robbo, as nice a bloke as he is, was terrible with shots from long distance. So many times he would let in shots from outside the box that a top goalkeeper would save. You just need to see some of the re runs of games on Sky that they show from time to time to see what I mean.
And Brad is probably always a 6 or 7 out of 10 every game, but I don’t think he can touch Lloris if both were playing at their best.

Mauricio Pochettino took charge of his 200th Premier League game. The Argentine becomes the first non-European manager to reach the landmark in the competition. Since his league debut as Southampton boss in January 2013, the 46-year-old has won 103 games, drawn 53 and lost 44.

You could have just said that Trippier and Davies are a cut above anything else we can offer and make the team tick.

Did MOTD disect the penalty claim when Son was fouled just before Stoke’s goal?
I haven't seen the post-match analysis, but they didn't replay it on the highlight section.
It's a bit odd, as they included the entire passage of play that lead to the goal, including that part.

Pochettino has not done right by KWP this
season IMHO. There have been enough
games this season where he could have
had more time as RB starting XI or sub.
Should've used him at left-back in a number of early games when Rose was out, too.
He needs to either go out on loan next season or replace one of our senior right-backs.
