Unbelievable isn’t it! I’ve lost interest so much that I basically didn’t want to watch the game until it started!! Had it not been a high quality stream I wouldn’t have bothered. When things are ok yo can handle a jumpy stream and the like. I’ve done it so many times. But this season I’ve found myself not bothering. I still go to the home games. But have little drive. This is what Ellis Short has done to OUR club. His names above the door but it’ll always be ours. Yours, mine, even monty987 ffs! Proper people who have Love for it
It's sad to say this, but i lost all interest in our beloved club a long while back and i've not seen one game this season, partly because of circumstances, but mainly cos they are just so crap that i can't even begin to get enthusiastic about them anymore. I still love the club and always will, but right now i hate what's happening to our club.
It certainly not at the top end of my thoughts. Got to keep up to date though and follow the fixtures. I'm not going until Short has gone though
Here's a hypothetical for you. Short doesn't go but we start well next season, are top of the league after 10 games with a team full of promising youngsters working their socks off and playing attractive, attacking football. Would you go and watch a game?
I have renewed my season card so will be their irrespective of who owns the club but obviousy would prefer to watch a commited capable team and go to every game with the knowledge that we stand a good chance of winning.
I would, winning games would re-invigorate the support, and a rocking Stadium of Light is a great place to be.
Am not a Mackem and definitely neither Bri nor Bri's spokesman. All the same I can confidently write here that he meant as long as Short still owns your beloved club your hypothesis won't hold water.
Yeh. Thanks for that. I'm not sure anything had been lost in translation but everyone's input is always welcome.
Went down there and for me, it was our best performance of the season - mind there isn't much competition. **** ground though - certainly needs doing up.
I fully expect us to do well next season, most relegated teams piss that league so what do you think? What you're saying makes no difference to the reasons I'm not going. We should walk that league even with Short at the club so a run of games in a piss poor league isn't going to sway me, maybe you. I'm not a gullible little cliche of a footy fan. I'm an extremely stubborn man with my own principles. No, I won't be back until Short has gone.
Not fit to call themselves professional footballers really. Imagine only turning up to work once every two weeks and getting paid the same as everyone else.
