Adkins didn't have a preseason, didn't choose most of this squad and had to clear up the mess after Slutsky. I don't know why you'd expect more than mid-table results with that.

or am I replying to a whooosh, maybe all these remarks about his interviews being so vitally important for our results are just one huge whooosh.

Well, I woke up to see the score and a huge smile went across my face, couldn't believe it had to look twice. Great result for City, SW3 Chelsea Tiger and Pudsey Tiger, makes a good afternoon great.

Sounds like a really good performance, have to say Nigel seems to have got them playing well and they all seem to know the system. Whether he learnt from the Brum game, that it's better to rotate some players to keep them fresh I'm not sure, but it seems to be working. Can see Irvine starting at Burton in Toral place, and maybe that is why he was left out of the starting line up today.

Harry Wilson looks to have a future in the game, just saw his goal really well taken. Adkin's has certainly worked wonders with Henriksen, the Scandinavian midfield is working well. I hope we can keep hold of Larsson for another season.

If we can get the win Tuesday, then that should just about do it I would say.

Given he had an opportunity with the Away Supporters Initiative money, don't hold your breath John Ex.

He totally looked after away supporters with that money...it was just he chose to look after everyone else’s fans instead of ours

Maybe the QPR shirts yesterday were funded by a few bob #askehab found stuffed down the back of the settee.

No change that, it was of course a QPR initiative handled by the CEO and a QPR legend, to say thanks to the fans, to make them feel, you know, just a bit valued. Something so alien to the Allams.

It's the morning after the night before, sore head, a brilliant day yesterday and good reason to celebrate for a City fan, particularly SW3 & Putney Tigers. Thought we started off tentatively again, but QPR were no great shakes other than physicality, which the ref didn't take control of earlier on, they were there for the taking and once we started scoring there was no stopping us. Just a shame Campbell couldn't get on score sheet, I was willing him on, he gets through on goal and trips over his feet?!

I think Aina and Henriksen have been a revelation under Adkins, look like different players from earlier in season.

Where was the angry Greegsy yesterday? Usually any sign of agro and he's there, yesterday we had "handbags out" a few times and he didn't get involved! At one point, Hector went to protect him in his own area! (Not that I condone violence!)

Think it's sad nowadays that we take a player off when he's on for a hat trick.

Another twenty minutes was hardly going to kill him.

He'd have needed another two to get a hat-trick.

Eight of #hcafc's starting XI yesterday are not contracted to the club for 2018-19. Encouraging end to the season but the summer promises to bring another overhaul.

Yes thought it would be scrubbed off. Even so he would have banged two in then. What's the point if you aren't going to go for glory.

We'll have two more home games to see Abel, we'll never see a forward as good for a long long time I doubt.

    Marshall

    ?????? McDonald Mazuch Kingsley

    henricksen Stewart

    Bowen Irvine Toral

    Campbell

Subs: Dicko Growshitski Keane Evandro mannion weir.

And we paid money for all those players apart from Bowen and Campbell.
Add in Batty, olley and possibly three loans- hopefully Moses will be back too.
Don't start a city transfer thread there won't be any.
