I realise I have really loved English culture almost all of my life and have identified with it more than Irish culture throughout most of my life. My sports heroes as a kid were Steve Cram Daley Thompson and Peter Shilton

English TV and music was all I watched and listened to, and watched in the media.

maybe that is why I have more interest in things UK than Ireland. My personal opinion of Ireland is an utterly corrupt backwater for the most part, but completely insignificant on the international stage and hardly worth bringing up. Unless it's McGregor being a complete moron He's raised the bar this week

 

He certainly has. Moneys massively gone to his head, he thinks he's untouchable and can do anything.

Having said that, it wouldn't surprise me if UFC staged it either. They're more like WWE these days.

My mate said exactly the same thing, this is for Khabib v McGregor in the future, PPV numbers.

I really turned off UFC altogether since the Mayweather fight, it made a mockery of UFC because they allowed a champion who never defended his welter weight title or middle weight title to go fight in boxing. McGregor should have been stripped immediately if he chose to fight Mayweather.

He made 100 million from that fight, why would he want to go back to UFC and earn 2 or 3 million for a much more gruesome fight?!

UFC is also full of roids and it's definitely got a WWE tint now.

 

McGregor has never had a title defence fight. lol

As for the Title, i'd love City to win it against Utd today. Would be a bitter pill for United.

After Wednesday i'd expect them to bounce back and he's picked a stronger team than i'd expected. Here's hoping.
