    Here's another. Scunny.

3.1 Season tickets are issued for your sole use and you shall not resell, assign or (save as set out in clause 3.2 below) transfer or lend the Season Ticket or the benefit of it to any other person without the prior written consent of the Club. For the avoidance of doubt (and by way of example only) this Season Ticket may not be offered as a prize in any promotion or competition nor transferred, lent or sold to any third party as part of a hospitality of travel package, or used for any other commercial purpose save as expressly authorised by the English Football League or the Club.

3.2 You may only resell or transfer the Season Ticket to a guest with the express written consent of the Club given at the Club's absolute discretion. The transfer must not involve payment or benefit in excess of the face value of the ticket. Such resale or transfer to any guest will be subject to the Terms and Conditions of Entry which will apply to that guest as if he/she was the original purchaser of the season ticket. Upgrades from a Concession rate to Adult can only be carried out through the Club's ticket office for the relevant fee and subject to the Club’s discretion. No refund will be given if it is changed to a category of less value.

Also: 1.3 Season tickets must be available for inspection at any time, as must proof of age or status to validate a concession ticket.

Not sure why I'm doing this, just bored so something to do. Just checked Sheffield United and they have exactly the same terms as Scunny. Must be a standard set that clubs use. They are the only two I've checked.

    Season
Tickets are issued for your sole use and you shall not resell, assign or (save as set out in clause 3.2 below) transferor lend the Season Ticket or the benefit of it to any other person without the prior written consent of the Club. For the avoidance of doubt (and by way of example only) this Season
Ticket may not be offered as a prize in any promotion or competition nor transferred, lent or sold to any third party as part of a hospitality or travel package, given to a third party who agrees to buy another good or service, or used for any
other commercial purpose, save as expressly authorised by the League or the Club.
You may only resell or transfer the Season
Ticket to a Guest with the express written consent of the Club given at the Club’s absolute discretion. No such resale or transfer will be permitted except where the same takes place in respect of an individual match and in consideration of no payment or benefit in excess of the face value of a ticket to that Match and such transfer does not take place during the course of any business or for the purpose of facilitating any third party’s
business. Such resale or transfer to any Guest will be subject to the Terms and Conditions of Entry which will (save for any rights to transfer under this clause) apply to that Guest as if he/she was the original purchaser of the Season Ticket (and
you must inform the Guest of this)

Grimsby (just general not specific season tickets)
21 Tickets are not transferable and may not be offered for sale without the prior written permission of the Club - or otherwise in accordance with the relevant ticket terms and conditions. Any tickets that are transferred are transferred subject to these Ground Regulations. Any tickets offered for sale may be confiscated by any steward, officer of the Club or any police officer. The Club reserves the right to refuse admission to or eject from the Ground and/or “blacklist”, any person who has offered for sale or transferred his/her ticket in contravention of the relevant ticket terms and conditions (and/or the holder of any ticket that has been transferred in contravention of the relevant ticket terms and conditions). Tickets remain the property of the Club at all times.

I could, but I'm not going to check the terms and conditions of every football club.

The lower league clubs don't give a **** who sits in the seats, they're just happy people are there. And of the top clubs who have the strictest rules, Man United allow family and friends to use passes, Man City allow family and friends to use passes, Chelsea allow family and friends to use passes, Arsenal allow family and friends to use passes (you have to go online and register their names, but you don't need permission), Liverpool's terms state you do need written permission, as do Spurs (though neither actually enforce that rule).

In fact, no club enforces these rules unless someone misbehaves, they're nothing more than an insurance policy, unlike the draconian nonsense that we're currently proposing.

You will probably find that this rule is applied in a lot of all seaters stadiums. Not in lower league stadiums where standing is allowed, obviously.
Naturally our owners are making it as as awkward and inconvenient for their paying customers , or the enemy as they regard them,as possibe, that is the way they operate.

    That’s the point
There was no need for the club to even mention it, just stick it in the T&Cs
As they did there must be some reason for doing so. My guess is it makes the concessions less appealing and they’d rather thdvote went the way of staying as we are (they’re preying on those greedy ones who want to keep their adult prices cheap and have the chance of winning a prize at the same time...and also preying on the many who think ID schemes are an abomination)

That’s why I’m struggling a bit with not voting.

You can’t lend your Hull City pass to a friend now without written consent of the Club

If you’re a member you already signed up to that

13.10 Each Ticket issued by the Club to the Member or any Guest is issued for the sole use of the Member or Guest named on the Ticket and neither the Member or Guest shall re-sell, assign or transfer their Ticket (or the benefit of it) to any other person without the prior written consent of the Club. For the avoidance of doubt (and by way of example only) no Ticket may, without the Club’s prior written consent, be offered as a prize in any promotion or competition or transferred, lent or sold to any third party as part of a hospitality or travel package, given to a third party who agrees to buy another good or service, or used for any other commercial purpose.

The issue is more the big deal they seem to be making about it in the proposals with talk of photo id etc. which seem designed
to put people off voting for the proposed concession system

So if we have the rules but don’t enforce them, we’re the same as the majority?
