The new guy has to be in the inner circle at board level and have ZERO ambitions to tell manager what to do

the job is about the long term structures and strategy of the club in terms of football.

your youth structures are not bad. your training ground isn't half bad, your scouting structures... well... then how coaching done and developed through the club to senior level is another question. the manager and first team simply sit on top of a pryamid to be managed at all levels

The director must come before manager not imposed on a manager then telling manger who is signing.


LFC issues:

1. Youth structures. mixed.
2. training. badly needs doing
3. Scouting... worrying
4. tehcnical director.. light weight.

Exactly who does what at LFC is clear as mud and we are reliant on klopp to make it all work. when he goes we will be back to square one again.
