Still don't think the tie is over.

Remember they spanked us at the start of the season.

Could easily see it 3-3 at 60 mins with all to play for.

Really could do with a goal early and take the wind out of their sails.

If we are professional about it and realise that we don’t have to attack them for 90 minutes, we should comfortably go through. Despite all the pundits fawning over this City, they are far from being a Madrid never mind a Barcelona with Messi.

Klopp despite his expected public caution knows we are through. It will be throwing it away and criminal if we let City go through after this.

Morning chaps
and may i just say what a fine morning it is too following on from a complete team performance so good that not one of our players has been criticised . ......................... by us <laugh>
It there was ever a “perfect” performance that was it. The second half was as good as the first. Good defensive play which we had to do as they attacked to try to score that away goal, and we didn’t even give them that lifeline.

For all his genius, I am surprised at how comprehensively Guardiola had been outwitted by Klopp. Pep left out Sterling and that was a massive mistake that was heavily punished. Not a single attempt on our goal. I thought I was dreaming.

Same - that City team were so one dimensional. All they kept doing was passing it down their left flank to target Trent. There was nothing else.

Trent is immense - I’m sure he won pretty much every dual with Sane. The whole defence gave city nothing, and were well protected by the midfielders.

Reactions: Bumps
I was stoned watching the game yesterday. My highlight was early in the second half TAA was at left back and Robertson RB. This was compounded by salah being on the left with mane on the right. I thought I had gone crazy luckily they reverted back to shape.

Roy Keane blasts one Man City player after Liverpool’s 3-0 demolition
It was a humbling night for the soon-to-be Premier League winners, with Manchester City completely capitulating to a dominant Liverpool side at Anfield.

The 3-0 defeat, which has been noted as a ‘reality check’ for the Sky Blues, has left Pep Guardiola and his charges with a gargantuan task ahead of the Champions League quarter-final return at the Etihad next week.

That was a bit odd.
