R.I.P Ray, such a graceful talented player. A great credit to the game, I'll miss his unique mannerisms as a pundit. R.I.P Matey
Ray, Ray super Ray. I met him at the training ground when I was 13 or 14. We talked whilst we ate in the canteen. He was a gent. RIP
Here's a very good interview with Ray Wilkins on his time at QPR by Ron Norris. It was conducted in 2005 for QPRnet ... http://www.qprnet.com/index.php/interviews-2/int-players/53-interview-wilkins
A very sad sad day. A sad loss to football. A genuine football player through and through - a class of professional sportsman that is sadly missing in today’s football. A well-meaning and special player and man. I am very proud to be able to say he was once a QPR player and manager (I wish he had been so much more successful at the helm, but sadly not to be). Definitely a tear in the eye. Thank you Ray. My thoughts and blessings to all your family who will, of course, miss you so much more than all us football fans. RIP Ray.
