When I mean arse fans I meant you thinking extra money means you will go onto win the league. The arse fans thought that about Wenger.... Obviously that went well
I guess we will see what happens with the players salaries. I can see a mutiny happening if people don't get considerable raises considering levy was already one of the best paid and has made himself the best paid chairman by doubling his own salary
I’m sure they will be offered. But will they have parity with what they can earn at a big club ? Or with the rise their chairman has given himself ? Levy is walking on dangerous ground by awarding himself a massive pay rise, whislt also telling his players that they have to fit within his strict wage structure.
CC @BobbyD “Tottenham Hotspur are optimistic Mauricio Pochettino will sign a new contract that would make him one of the best paid managers in the Premier League and that he will be joined by a host of the club’s stars. Pochettino, Tottenham’s two-goal hero against Chelsea Dele Alli, Harry Kane, Jan Vertonghen, Hugo Lloris, Son Heung-min Son and Christian Eriksen are all expected to recommit themselves to the club in the coming months.”
You thought you was going to dominate the world for decades to come with your Russian Gangster money...don't tell me otherwise. Your whole club thought it, that's why you disregarded and disrespected the fundamentals of running a club...for example, Youth policies, you thought you could just buy the cream of the crop every year. City have shown you how to do it better and your not dominating the World. Extra money means extra opportunities...after that it's psychological...wage rises don't win leagues.
Not often fam but has to be done #meltdown Talking about spurs is deffo your kryptonite. Chelsea's model isn't sustainable which is why the Russian has reined it in recently (about bought up all the youth)
And the funding required to pay for that project. "That construction project will be the next excuse used for not paying his players the wages they are demanding." The revenues of the club every year, "construction project" or not, is the reason for (not) paying the wages they are demanding.
for the work he has done to try and greatly improve the financial strength of the club (securing the land and funding to build a new 62,000 stadium etc) ?? No, most people don't. "so hes the highest paid whilst (on paper) whilst telling everyone they" may not all be able to have their wage demands met, based on the current revenues.
Your chairman's also your owner and he's a billionaire. He's also allegedly a corrupt thief: https://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-t...against-owner-of-leicester-city-idUKKBN1DF2NU
Nothing will come out of that as Thailand is more corrupt than Somalia and those that need to be paid off will be.
People with his amount of money are rarely troubled by legal issues for long, regardless of where they are, to be fair to Thailand. Sir Philip Green's arrogance is testament to that.
Donated £2 million to Leicestershire hospitals last year and just held a Teddy Bears picnic for kids at the Leicester Royal Infirmary ... all charges alleged and strongly denied Contrast with Daniel Levy who has just donated a few million to ... Daniel Levy ... scummy ****
