A BBC contributor reckons Ronaldo's 2nd was possibly best ever goal scored in the competition, bit of a wild statement although it was a stunner.

": Is there anything Cristiano Ronaldo can't do? Not content with just being a goal machine he's gone and scored arguably the greatest goal in the history of the Champions League too... Wow, I have actually ran out of superlatives to describe this man!!!"

So we see exactly how much spurs ****ed it v juve tonight.

Spurs ran them off the park and were leading in second leg and really threw it away.

In the modern game, what happens today is often described as 'the best' or 'the greatest' blah blah blah

Next week it will be some other goal

I think its not only his current status in the game but his association with a certain English club that will keep his goal tonight in the limelight for a long time in this country.:bandit:

The truth about Sam Allardyce and Everton's home form
Everton fans may well be getting sick of hearing the phrase "home form".

During the club's dismal run of away form before the victory over Stoke almost three weeks ago now, Sam Allardyce was keen to focus on the

“The differences between us are we are not good enough away from home, but good enough at home," the Everton boss said before the visit to Burnley at the beginning of March.

"From where we started, down in the bottom end and everyone talking about relegation, to where we are now [is an improvement]."

The away form has been dreadful, granted, but the truth about Everton's home form is quite simple - not all that much has changed since the appointment of Allardyce.

    interesting.

    no harm imo.

it is a long term job to build a football organisation from ground up (without destroying good work already in place at youth level) so a guy who just plays transfer guru is not the answer

Walsh has had an impact on sourcing young talent. The manager(s) didn’t seem to follow that thought process.
