A good performance without the players that are out of contract at the end of the season with the exception of Ned

Easily Matt Smith's best performance of the season and for once our captain can also really hold his head high. But it's the players with less experience that really got me excited today. Eze performed some tricks late in the 2nd half that reminded me of Rodney Marsh in his pomp. Easy to get carried away of course but there is something about the current crop of youngsters that is really encouraging.

Be careful. I compared Taarabt once to Bowles and Marsh and the geriatrics nearly banned me.

Bidwell gets forward more from full back than he did when was supposedly playing as a wing-back. Some good crosses from him today, including a peach for Manning to score.

Not by me I hope (memory going fast....) for one season at least Taarabt was better than Marsh and Bowles (perhaps not Marsh, I never saw him in the hoops. The real geriatrics will get me now) but not as likeable.

Well, that result was a tonic. Jolly D.

Great result and performance today. Matt Smiths best game for us. The fact that we came from behind is even more encouraging. I can see Ollie has a plan and is blooding the youngsters in preparation for next season. I hope the Chief stays and signs for another season at least. I sit in A block where a lot of the players families sit and overheard that most of the current squad will be at LR next season. I had a feeling we would tonk someone soon, but I didn't expect it to be today!! U Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs!!!

Norwich fans all think he’s a ****. Sounds like another Stam/JFH overcomplicating a simple sport.

He’s a Pratt none of goals came from long balls, why don’t he admit his team was well beaten especially on 2nd half showing, eat your words Farke & off.

Hey, you play to your strengths. Ours resulted in a 4-1 victory. They lost.

In reality we played some nice football and used the height of Smith to good effect. They got lucky with their goal and I don’t remember Smithies making a save

Incredibly, now you mention it, there is no Smithies save in the highlights .

I always used to view Norwich as a team we'd love to beat but seldom did. How come they've become so poor? Has Delia lost interest? I read their match day thread and it was full of doom. Any Canaries like to comment?

There was one save/parry in the first part of the highlights, and a dodgy back pass to deal with, but apart from that it was probably one of Smithies least busiest days.

Amazingly, according to BBC, they had 57% of possession with 16 shots, 3 on target, which is not reflected in either highlights or reports from both fans who were there or from the write ups I've read.

Hope we can keep this form up until the end of the season, which would provide a boost for the current squad and possibly entice any new signings to come along and enjoy the QPR rollercoaster.

Definitely a feel good win, and hopefully a momentum builder into next season. Enjoying the fact we've got young players in the likes of Furlong, Manning, Eze and Smyth enjoying their football and establishing themselves as 1st team regulars.

Good signs that we bounced back from a poor result against Reading, big part of being successful in this league.

On footballing skills Taarabt for QPR was better .... different times
Taarabt for QPR was very very special
Shame he is From Morocco and a culture most of us didn’t understand
Skills wise the best we have had by miles

The birds by the way from Norwich were in fact interbred mice that were all shagged by bats. My son said he saw them all fly out of this ladies arse in the Norwich end
