    2nd, 3rd and 4th all get a group placing in next season's CL, ok for pride it would be nice to finish in second but as things stand I'd take 4th, we've shown that last season's league placing's mean jack in the CL previously so as long as we get a top 4 spot everything is sound.
    Should we knock City out this season who knows what will happen, if(no jinx)we got number 6 no other English club would ever match it let alone better it.

    I didn't realise that. Will be interesting to see who Klopp plays against Everton next week then!

    Imo klopp will have to play best team v Everton as the reality is he has about 3 subs left

    Partly dependent on what happens Wed. evening. If we are still in the tie, which I fully expect us to be, then a few second strings may be
    fielded v Everton. These injuries we have recently don't help, Can's fitness is important :emoticon-0107-sweat

    The Top 4 and going through in the CL have to be the priority (and not 2nd). That is why the Spurs win yesterday was such a massive boost for us.

    I agree. But we still have to play Chelsea so a bad result against Everton brings them back into the mix. Klopp has a difficult juggling job over the next 10 days.

    huh... hope you lot are not too disappointed when we don't win the cl then.

    I'm just happy to be in it. we have far exceeded expectations and judt hope we have a good go at it.

    Got to feel they are planning for championship as no one is going to be able to keep them up.
