I'm guessing, but because Sky decided (late) to broadcast the game , Viking couldn't contractually pick it up, hence no access to live audio commentary through Tigers player. The game video is up on the Tiger Player however - I watched it last night. You'd think either the Hull City (****ing Tigers) official web-site would have announced that fact or Viking themselves. Shoddy customer service treatment when you're paying a monthly subscription. edit> I'll be pissed off if the same black-out happens with Tuesday's game at Wolves. I talked to Viking and Hull City's marketing people before (when they missed a couple of early season games). Had to phone both of the organizations because left-hand/right-hand don't seem to take responsibility/ownership for their customers when things cock-up. The Allams don't give a toss.
I get Viking 2 commentary only on DAB radio but not on internet sources which seem to broadcast the regular format.
So I did, the game was broadcast but was not available on the internet due to faulty equipment. This has now been fixed they said, and will be o.k for the Wolves game. Happy listening !
