    If it's something you want to do then go for it JPF. Don't worry about deadlines and timetables. Don't worry if you need to make changes. I'd also say don't worry about whether other people will like it or read it. Write what is in your head and heart. Write it for yourself and not the audience. It's a great thing to do so good luck mate.

    I love literature, l love words and writing. I have often thought about writing a novel, but, never really took the notion seriously. It is one of the regrets l have.
    If you have the motivation Jude then go for it. As others have rightly said, write the book for you, without fear of critique. Achieve your ambition and when you have, be proud no matter what anyone else thinks.
    Write for the love of it, write for the love of words, set a scene and take your reader on a journey, they may enjoy it and they may not.
    I for one would love to read the finished article. Be brave, be you.x
