lallana is on 65k a week til 2020. he will be 30 in may so by 2020 when his contract runs out he will be 32.... someone might buy him and match those wages. milner is on 120k til 2019 he is 32 now so will be 33 next summer when his deal is out. prob a 1 year extension Henderson is on 100k til 2020. he will be 28 in the summer so 30 at contract end. nobody is matching those wages. of them all i would say lallana might be easiest to shift. Milner I think will say and play less. Really our team development needs to keep pace now. If front 3 are front 3 we still need a real option to push them on or supplant one if good enough. Midifeld as of auguut looks to be kieta and nobody else. this needs work if we are to challenge Back line. need a CB GK? **** knows. I would say 4 players this summer.
Ref's call is #final he was on yellow and chose to flop over then handle it. He is dead lucky ref bottled that. I wonder if palace fans are cursing ref for costing them potentially 3 points there and putting them in real danger.
No flop at all. Defenders go down with 1/10th of the contact 100 times per game and get the decision 100% of the time. The ref made a 1 in a million decision against Mane. Combined with the 1 in a million decision to award the penalty it is statistically inconceivable the ref was not #bentasfuck
MotD. I think Shearer and Murphy have spent too much time together - it's getting hard to tell them apart. I wish they'd make up their ****ing minds, btw. Shearer last night saying how "it's a contact sport, blah blah" - yet how often have we heard him come out with the old "felt contact so entitled to go down" blarney? It seems he changes his principles depending on just who he's talking about - who'd have thought it?
I think he means cheat everywhere and anywhere you can get away with it. Push, shove, drag and barge lads but then on the other side flop over like a 5 pound carp on a river bank. its just about who gets caught .
Too obvious. He would have found some less blatantly bent reason to send him off than him being kicked.
Good result yesterday. Games to Go 1.Everton Away. 2.Bournemouth Home. 3.West Brom Away 4.Stoke city Home. 5.Chelsea Away. 6.Brighton & Hove Albion #Win all top four secured
Is right Jimmy. Possibly the biggest three points of the season. Big game on Wednesday, of course, but if we can get three points off the ****e next Saturday, and if Chelsea drop points today, then we should be safe if we win our final two home games. Probably still a few twists and turns left yet though.
We're not going to win all those games, Dribs, and nor will we need to. Beat the ****e and win our last three home games (I thought it was two, tbh) and that will surely do it, as Chelsea are no way going to win eight on the bounce.
That two-faced S*n writer Shearer was only saying, when Kane went down against us, that it doesn't matter how much the contact is, the forward has the right to go down. As for Murphy; in this fixture last season he spent ten minutes discussing Palace's three penalty claims (one was outside the box, another was a foul on Matip by Benteke, the third was 50/50 at best) yet never mentioned the clearest penalty of the afternoon, when Ford had a header punched off the line.
Probably not cursing him as much as I do for not giving a blatant pen and booking Mane in the first place. Off the top of my head, I can think of Calvert Lewin, Kane and salah (on VAR, no less) who all exaggerated and got pens in games involving us, and I agreed with all three decisions. Suddenly the like of Gallagher and Shearer are saying it's a contact sport -er, they didn't say that for all three of those decisions.
And behave over that: even Gallagher, on a blind mission to defend Swarbrick at any cost, said he thought it was a clear foul on Mane.
I'm not, I'm just giving an honest opinion about how the game has veered away from the honesty it once had, dishonest people in the game are idolised by the media and fans alike, some even get statues built in their honour and suchlike.
