    Good Morning Everyone

Saiz is back in training - There is a chance that he will play against Bolton tomorrow!

Alioski has not returned from international duty yet.

Cooper, Dallas and Lonergan all back in training, and nearing a return

    Roofe will be back shortly.

De Bock will be longer term - whatever is wrong with him is a mystery...

18 yo Centreback Matthew Keogh has left Leeds after 10 years!

Keogh - who was a second year scholar at Leeds - has signed up with SRUSA, who claim on Twitter to be the 'World's #1 U.S. College Soccer Placement Consultants'.

There seems to be confusion whether Leeds are planning to make a Promotion push in the Summer or not.

Days after Heckingbottom was quoted as telling us that "we are going to have a mid-table budget next season, Angus Kinnear has attempted to manipulate Heckingbottom’s words (until at least more season tickets have been sold) by telling Leeds fans that all revenue from season tickets will be re-invested in players and wages.

Angus Kinnear admits “lessons have been learned” at Leeds United ahead of what he’s predicting will be an “exciting summer” at Elland Road. #lufc @LeeSobotYEP https://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/sport/football/leeds-united/exclusive-leeds-united-md-angus-kinnear-predicts-exciting-summer-ahead-after-learning-valuable-lessons-1-9085469 …

Season ticket income about £9m? To be invested in wages and players. That alone doesn’t change us into a top six side. Hopefully there’s more to add to that

Interesting article in the YEP today...

'Elland Road is a dump... the Revie Stand is named after a cheat', claims angry Sunderland columnist

It's fair to say Sunderland Echo columnist Tony Gillan isn't a fan of Elland Road's ticket pricing structure.
The Black Cats make the trip south to West Yorkshire on April 7 and following the tickets going on sale it appears it has upset some in the north... so much so a whole Sunderland Echo column has been dedicated to the subject.

Elland Road, Leeds fans and even Don Revie can't hide from the wrath of Gillan's keyboard. Well, we'll let him take it from here...

Regrettably, you will not be sitting in a very nice ground should you travel to the Elland Road “stadium” on April 7. It’s a dump.

Alright... so we're off to a good start here. Nothing notable there *rolls eyes*.

For the privilege of sitting behind a corner flag in Leeds United’s dilapidated John Charles Stand (named after a gentleman), to watch a bad side take on an even worse one, surrounded by notoriously charmless home fans, £37 is demanded from visitors. This rises to £42 if they are bought on match day.

    Dilapidated? Someone's used a thesaurus...

The equivalent, opposite view from the north end of the East Stand, blocks L28-30, beside the Revie Stand (named after a cheat), will cost adult home supporters just £26. In the Premier League a £30 cap is in place for away tickets. It is indicative of the delusion at Leeds, a club that hasn’t seen the Premier League for 14 years, that their pricing policy suggests something special will be on offer in 10 days time.

    It won’t.

I'll give him this one. He managed to insult a club legend and refer to the Whites exile from the top flight all in one breath. Fair play.

I am resigned to being ripped off by Leeds (worth noting too that they charged Sheffield Wednesday fans even more recently) and still intend to be there. However, once inside the ground I will not be spending a single penny on programmes, food, drink or any other overpriced quality-deficient fare I can happily live without.

Not the pies, Tony. Think of the pies...

They might take the hint if everyone does the same. In fairness, some tickets for home supporters are also £37 (ripping off home fans too provides “justification”). But that’s for the best seats and cheaper options are available, as opposed to the like-it-or-lump-it policy for visitors.

The usual unimaginative and entirely predictable abuse on unrelated matters for this column is likely to follow. It’s what Leeds fans do. What they won’t do is provide any excuse for the greed and contempt shown, continually, by their club to its customers.

    Well, you started it...

    Morning all...

They said lessons had been learnt when sacking TC and signing PH and it’s actually been a massive backward step so another lesson learned statement doesn’t fill me with confidence.

    Morning all :emoticon-0148-yes:

I read what Kinnear said and think he moved the goalposts backwards slightly. Radz said last Summer that this season needed to be in the play offs to improve on last season. Next season will be automatic promotion if we dont make it via the POs this season. Kinnear mention long term plans and setting foundations yada yada yada. He also said it was our aim to be back in the Prem as fast as we can. I read that as being play off target next season, so the project has lost a season although Academy, infrastructure all on the up. Suppose the lessons learnt will be about not banking on overseas players being able to cope with Championship and club expectations. Adding what Radz had to say on the Wolves affair lets hope that big loan signings can be made if we cant afford to buy. Loans have worked in the past look at Huddersfield last season, Watford, Wolves this season and even Hull.

Morning all. At least that Sunderland writer is unlikely to have to visit Elland Road for quite a while. He does raise interesting points though. Ground is beginning to look its age.Curious to hear what our posters who travel to many away games think our ground is holding up compared to others in the division and also how ticket prices compare. Id far rather hear Kinnear say the club has secured decent investment which will be spent on the first squad than this ****e of spending the takings from season tickets. Effectively passing the buck onto loyal fans in my opinion if there is a lack of investment in players. Its a load of crap/lies anyway because the proceeds from season ticket sales will be required to pay the salaries of the players already at the club

I just don't care about Sunderland. Let them scream from the rooftops as loud as they like. Never liked them since '73. There going down that's why they are screaming. Oh and by the way if we don't thrash them I too will be screaming.

Good Morning to Matt and co from a very sunny Bardsey
To be able to reach a playoff position we need to spend at least £25m on 5 players and I have not taken into account selling Pontus and SaizI wish we could somehow keep them
Where do we get this investment by loaning the players or by AR loaning the club the money
Yes the ground needs more spending on it.I find it very difficult to sit properly because the seats are to close but at least AR has spent money unlike the previous owners

You still believe this nonsense that he has spent money?
He has loaned the club money in smoke and mirrors deals and sooner or later we will be asked to pay it back.
The club continues to be run into the ground by parasites.

Morning Mike. It' a bit of both. Each season we see amazing talent being loaned out to what I would have called lessor clubs whilst we manage to get the only useless player on manures books. That takes some doing...

Morning doc, suppose the difficulty the club have is they have over promised. Now Heckingbottom has under promised. In steps Kinnear to confuse the issue even more. If 15000 season tickets sell, what kind of kitty is that? Remember, we are talking wages too.

But he wouldn't be cheap. So, to summarise, no chance.
