Liverpool Star Emre Can Dismisses 'False Stories' After International Return Emre Can has criticised recent news as "false stories" after it was reported Liverpool would have to pay the midfielder £200,000 per week in order to convince him to extend his stay at the club. The Mirror's Tom Hopkinson reported on Sunday that Can wants to become Liverpool's highest earner. However, he took to Instagram on Monday evening upon returning from international duty with Germany, seemingly to address those claims: "I've just returned from international duty with the German team and working on coming back from injury. Interesting stories about me in the press! I'm no longer going to comment on any false stories or rumours! Looking forward to getting back on the pitch asap." http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...sses-false-stories-after-international-return
He'd undoubtedly want an improved contract to stay but the figures bandied around are pure guesswork. I personally think it's a smokescreen and that he'll leave no matter what, he has had a half arsed attitude for most of the season and the sooner his future whether it's with us or at another club is done and dusted the better, the club has some very important games between now and the end of the season and the focus should purely be on those.
Miroslav Klose: "The football I grew up playing is no longer there. Today, all players care about is their cars, their shoes with their names on, and their image. While for me, the only thing that counted was football. Nothing else."
Love it... Madrid are set to snub Salah! Because you know, everything was all in place for him to go until they’ve decided they don’t want him.

Man Utd news: Liverpool star Mohamed Salah will influence Jose Mourinho transfer plans MANCHESTER UNITED will take into consideration Jose Mourinho’s treatment of Liverpool star Mohamed Salah before making a final transfer plan regarding Luke Shaw, according to reports. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/foo...-Salah-Luke-Shaw-Premier-League-transfer-news
when someone gets old they get grumpy. for me look at Mourinho in 2004. players would jump off a cliff for that man today... they dont listen at all as they have massive expensive headphones on. its deffo a changed world but i really dont think its changed all rhat much where a player goes to the higest bidder
Liverpool backed to complete mega Gianluigi Donnarumma transfer LIVERPOOL have been backed to complete the signing of AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma this summer. Reds legend Steve Nicol thinks the 19-year-old could be the No 1 at Anfield for the next 10 years. Donnarumma has impressed for Milan ever since breaking into the side and has kept 19 clean sheets in all competitions this season. “To be honest I think Liverpool should go and see if they can either get a No 1 or have somebody who’s on a level with Karius,” Nicol said on ESPN FC. “Mignolet isn’t, he’s clearly the No 2 and I think what Mignolet’s doing is waiting to see if he can get a game in the World Cup. “Courtois has had a couple of injury nicks recently and a good World Cup would mean Mignolet is in the shop window and he could get himself a good move.”
Quick whiz through the footballing news and apparently we're in for everybody. Silly season is nearly upon us....I'm not sure that I'm ready for another summer of speculation
example everyone was shocked when alan shearer chose newkie over utd. following "the dream" the point is it was actually a shock cos even then people were thinking the same head on for the big club etc etc. esp when we all know what is very likely. the one thing i would say is at last with world cup theres a distraction for some press
