I watched all of Breaking Bad despite never being grabbed. After all the hype I kept thinking ‘surely it’ll get good at some point’. It didn’t.
I love Homeland, the first few episodes tend to just lay some groundwork and then it builds and builds
Glad to hear it. I've got it recorded. Impatiently waiting till it's nearly finished to binge watch it. I think that now they have a clear end date that the next 2 series could be the best yet.
that episode entitled the fly summed it up for me - not a lot happens in some episodes I abandoned it but may return, wife had got bored long before that peaky blinders I stopped watching halfway through the first episode but my missus watched the lot mentalist watched the lot - mostly good banshee excellent escapism violent fun -we both watched them all but like Vikings around series 4 they sort of run out of ideas prison break started great but got so totally unbelieveable we both sacked it off well before the last series blacklist i loved the idea but its just the same thing over and over again californication was funny at first and plenty of eye candy but got a bit samey looking for summat new to watch and will finish browsing this thread for ideas
Just finished 13 reasons why and end of the f***ing world and really enjoyed them both also just finished Travellers which was ok Currently on with Altered carbon and Between
It wasn't bad, it was just a bit 'KFC' I.e. It was satisfying whilst it lasted but not as memorable as they convinced you it would be
13 Reasons Why sounds a bit depressing, I might save that until after one of my children have commited suicide or indeed after I have..... End of the f***ing world I saw that but thought it was a one off, didn't realise it was a series. My kind of humour especially when he is intending to kill her..... I'll give that a go. Same with Altered Carbon but i'll watch it with eyes fimly closed cos I don't do nudity. Between sounds like Hollyhoaks meets Outbreak. I quite liked Dustin Hoffmans films when he was young so I might try this.
I started watching the End of the ****ing World, but I might go back to it I liked it at first, although I felt a bit old to be watching it, but it felt a bit samey by the third episode Maybe I’ll give it another go
I’ve just finished watching ‘Money Heist’ which is the Netflix adaptation of Spanish show ‘La Casa de Papel’. It’s in Spanish with English subtitles but I’d easily say it’s one of the best shows I’ve watched, and has excellent reviews. Season 2 isn’t out in the UK until later this year, but I found the episodes elsewhere online because I didn’t want to wait.
Definitely, a pain to watch the second series though, had to use fan made subtitles and they weren’t great. You get the gist though.
I'm currently watching Modus on BBC 4. Quite enjoying it, it's half and half in English and Swedish with subtitles.
Finished these and moved on to The Mist and Ghost Wars Looking back at what I've been watching, I never realised I like death so much
