If Warner had just gone about his day job of playing cricket and QDK had made those remarks without provocation I’d agree with you. The simple fact is Warner, along with most of that team, are sneering bully boys who love to give it out. Mental disintegration I believe they call it. They want to set the boundaries on where the line is and from what I’ve read pretty much anything goes. Personal abuse is common place from this Aussie team. They see a weak spot and home in on it. QDK has seen Warner’s hand and raised the stake, Warner must be thick as **** when you think about it. His wife gets done up the wrong ‘un by SBW in a public toilet so instead of realising he’s a sitting duck (when it comes to sledging material) and keeping his mouth shut he goes around winding every bastard up. He is the architect of his own downfall and it’s been a long time coming. If he thought that much of his family the thick **** should have used what common sense he has and not gone looking for fights because what WDK did was a metaphorical six yard tap in. It was way too easy. I wouldn’t join in any chant about his wife by the way but if you want to go around dishing it out and someone comes back at you with a bit of added interest you can’t really complain. IMO.
It's not a weak spot tho mate. If I was bairstow I'd have twatted whoever said it. Forget the game something's are more important. Standing up for what's right. Ye they're odious ****s apparently these aussies. My personal line is I wouldn't do it and I don't agree with it. No matter what he's been doing.
The Northern grounds will have a 12th man sat in the terraces next year, shame Trent Bridge didn't get a test. As Carmine said, warner has brought this on himself, and what was said to Bairstow crossed too many lines. I for one have no qualms next year in joining in reminding Warner what a **** he is.
I've heard much worse said to me in the Lancashire Premier League than what was said about Warners wife. However, the stuff about Bairstow's dead was too far. This is the same Australia whose coach said in 2013, "Send Broad home crying", and are now moaning it's gone too far. They are arrogant and deserve every bit of abuse that comes their way.
What was said to me won't be repeated on a public forum, I have no need to share certain aspects of my private life.
I was about to post the same thing about Lehmann. Whipped up the Aussie crowd (with the help of their media) into a near frenzy about Broad because he hadn’t walked in a previous test. Now the hypocritical ****house moans and whinges because his players are copping some flack from the South Africans. GTF.
Hmm good point. In my head when posting that, he nutted him and knocked the odious **** out. In reality, it’s how you explained it. Ffs.
While Bairstow said things were said on the cricket field that crossed the line, I thought he fell short of saying it was about his dad? Even those odious twats wouldn't go that far, would they?
Glen McGrath was another one. On two separate occasions he mouthed off with pretty nasty comments, both of which had obvious comebacks that didn’t need much imagination from the player getting abused by McGrath. When those comebacks came winging back at him( both relating to his wife) he went ****ing mental. It’s not rocket science. Be a decent human being and play the game as it should and chances are you’re not going to get sledged. Go ‘round being a gobby smart arse and guess what? If you can’t take it, don’t dish it.
I didn’t realise that the South African fans were wearing SBW masks! Decent article actually too https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/spo...t-exposes-australian-sledging-hypocrisy-again
I got told McGrath was abusing one of the Sri Lankan's, can't remember who, and he was saying why are you such a fat ****. Sri Lankan: every time I **** your wife she gives me a biscuit... McGrath went mental.
