It's as I remember it. Or at least picked on small groups hat they vastly outnumbered, whilst being tooled up to their eyeballs with bats and all sorts. I remember them trying to charge a pub full of England and Wales fans, who didn't turn and run but just stood there, and that mob of Russians soon turned round and ****ed off elsewhere in search of an easier fight. In short, a bunch of proper fannies.

Yes I also attended said fixture in 2007. The occasional English jester hat got beaten up, and the extremely courteous representatives of various Moscow football clubs kept popping up to try an arrange mass brawls with the local toughs, but on the whole it was well policed. Nearly came to grief the night before the game down the Arbat as a large group of angry young muscovites swarmed by looking for stragglers. No cctv or OB.
