Phil Parkinson is the front runner for the managerial vacancy at Bradford. Hope he gets the job. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,,11745_7126293,00.html?
He's been "out of work" since January? Aren't Arsenal paying him then? Don't they ever check their facts?
He was hoping Arsenal would lose to Udinese so he could have Wenger's job. First task would have been to sign Doc and Dailly to shore up that notorious Arsenal defence.
I have absolutely nothing against Parky at all hope he gets the job and does well. Bradford should a championship club and he will be taking over a club with comparetive riches. Good luck to him,I know many didnt like him as our manager but as a bloke he was top class nothing like his predecessor
Interesting to see how he'd be received at Charlton. My guess is he'd get a smattering of applause, none of the (deserved) abuse that pardew got.
Parky did'nt do that bad considering he was given very little money to spend. He was left with Pardews signings, and then had to go in the market and sign plenty of freebies.
When you look at our period of decline, almost into oblivion, I think very very few fans ( OK one or two exceptions) lay the major blame at Parky's door.
Good be a very good move for Parky - Doesnt seem to do well at the Big Club (i.e. Hull and Charlton) yet maybe he can transform Bradford like he did Colchester (after all Bradford are the underachievers of League Two)
He did OK at Charlton. Play-offs first season in Div One and on target for play-offs when sacked. All with Pardew's overpaid primadonnas seeing out their contracts and a ragbag of free transfers and loans. Impossible to know what he would have achieved with the resources CP now has. I think he will do great at Bradford.
how does this man keep getting jobs having relegated us and having the worst bunch off assholes playing in the first team in mccormack docherty and others?it was bollox football under him hes a useless manager simple
