Angus Kinnear comments on PH seem to sugest the club think 'Eckythump is doing a good job or is it just a veiled warning? “Paul Heckingbottom is central to this process and his principles and values are already being embraced by the players and backroom staff and we are in no doubt they will soon translate to the quality and consistency of performance that our supporters are right to demand.”
He's trying different things for sure, not affraid to make changes, its not his team, give him a chance I say.
Calos Corbean after yesterdays 3-0 win over Cardiff "I think the work of Victor Orta and the work of Andrea with the academy is great, it's brilliant because with the new players and with the players we were working with before now we have a great team and they are helping us to be the future of this great club and this is very positive for everyone."
The problem with the club is that the fans have had so many years of disappointment we don't know who to believe anymore. Many of us try and stay upbeat but what has happened this season is almost criminal. So do we watch the rest of this season fall apart hoping Kinnear is right and PH will be brilliant next year, do we take heart that the U23s are actually leading the way with half a dozen kids that could be big players for us next season? Those kids by the way are not all kids, some are slow developers and a couple of babies like Dalby, Clarke, Stevens are blooming early. If your good enough your old enough
Its OK, I'm always right. On a semi serious note, how is the golf practice going before the move to Spain? You know you could use the 5 hours a day I've saved you here
No practice took place over winter. Will pick up the golf bats once it gets warmer and when I know where I will be...
So the kids U18s are at it again winning 2-0 at half time against Watford. Ryan Edmundson scores yet again
On another forum some guy watched the game and was raving about Jack Clarke playing out wide, said he has seen him play both sides and he looks very good. This is the guy listed as a striker who turned down Man City
Good choice, its not a game that should be played in the muck and ****e of a northern european winter
Not being funny mate but I’m not sure golf is the game for you. The obvious problems would be decorum and etiquette but, beyond that, if you get any good and actually manage to hit a ball, how the feck are you going to find it?
