Who's backing Ashley again then?

Ashley needs to die.

However Barton is mostly to blame for his exit , he engineered his move away and the only thing that concerns him is his pay check.

Lost loads of respect for him , it also seems like he signed yesterday so all this 'time and space' talk is ****ing rubbish.

Carroll deserves stick for leaving, but the others are good people Ashley has forced out of the club. The man's a ****, some people will continually delude themselves that the Ashley is doing what's best for the club though and you're wasting your breath trying to convince them otherwise.

 

How was Enrique forced out? How was Nolan forced out? How was Barton forced out?

All three of them were offered new contracts. All three of them rejected them for a bigger wage at other clubs.

 

Sick of hearing this. He's cost this club hundreds of millions since he's been here, if he didn't run it like a pleb in the first place we wouldn't owe him money.

Renaming the stadium
Plastering Sports Direct all over the stadium
Moving the singing section
Illegally approaching players
Failing to reinvest income from transfers in the 'team'
Selling Barton for free

That is what I can come up with off the top of my head but I'm sure there's things I've missed.


And before people start saying 'but Ashley was right not to give Nolan a long term deal', that wasn't my point. I also don't think Nolan warranted a 4 year deal. Basically Ashley and Llambias lied to him about a new contract, which was the problem.

 

i don't think you get it i'm saying people who call anyone with a different opinion an Ashley lover sad and pathetic if any thread is going to have us at each others throats then this is it(the headline alone is confrontational).why not just vent your spleen on one of the many Barton threads instead.this is my opinion and i choose to not get involved in slagging other toon fans off just because they're glad Bartons gone with what i consider as a cheap shot in calling people Ashley lovers.

How has he cost it money?

 

Ashley and his little ****ing sidekick are trying their very best to ruin this football club, you simply cannot dress it up any other way imo.

However some players easily could of stayed.

 

Bull he inherited sheds loads of debt from the previous owners and a wage bill that meant he would have to carry on pumping more in every year until costs were brought under control. There are more than enough genuine reasons to dislike Ashley without making some up as well.

I can't make sense of it either. If this had happened in Italy, there's no way Ashley would not have ended up in body bag long before now. We're far too tolerant.

The way I see it, Ashley has managed to lower everyone's expectations to the point where the critical faculty of a lot of fans has been almost obliterated. What really hacks me off, though, are the fans who maybe have done an accountancy course in college and blather on about the need to run a club 'on a cash basis' and the infamous 'five year plan'.

No doubt I will be told to 'bore off' by the happy clappers, but I firmly believe we are on course for relegation this season, although I sincerely hope I'm wrong.

And I don't think we'll sign anybody before next Thursday.

 

Point me to one mag who backs Ashley. I don't know any that do. The simple fact is alot of people have grown up supporting Newcastle going throughh similar things with other owners and have experience of the kind of **** he puts us through. It was the same when we sold beardsley. Alot of fans on here won't be old enough to remember back then. Ashley is not backed, only tolerated.

Fact is lads, it doesn't work as simply as this ^.

It's possible to know that Ashley is a right **** and also entertain the possibility that he isn't the only one to blame. Barton is not a virtuous pillar of innocence and people who have a go at him are absolutely not necessarily backing Ashley.

A thread suggesting that anybody having a go at the players who left are instantly supporters of Ashley is doomed from the start, it will become a hell of a trainwreck - so I thought I'd add a bit of colour and a picture of llambias as a worm to cheer it up a bit.
