He always gets a bounce when he starts - then he gets exposed. Look at Wagner comparison at Huddersfield..
Fair enough, 1 goal scored in their last 4 games reminds me of us a few years back, so boring to watch
Southend needed someone to come in to stop the rot and make them a solid side again. Unless things changed over the previous weekend, their fans were loving CP.
He's doing very well at Southend, have a look where they were when he took over. I do agree that Powell had to go BUT he should have been sacked immediately they took over, that was what they wanted to do but for some reason kept him until the cup run finished. Having said that, I'd bring Powell back to galvanise the fan base and hopefully build on the 9th finish from 2013. Assuming he gets some dough like he did in the promotion season.
i'd take him back without thinking. i preferred it when we were winning, moving up the leagues in front of bigger crowds. only bad time we had under CP was when he didnt get any backing.
One of the rumours circulating today is that Paul Elliott’s involvement with the Aussie consortium has been pulled up by the EFL. Were these things not checked out before they submitted their offer? Perhaps PE has 48p worth of shares in one of his former clubs ...enough to concern a governing body that turned a blind eye to Duchatelet’s wrecking ball for 4 years. Either way, this is becoming a farce. The player (s) are back in 3 weeks
For the EFL to suddenly get so picky about this take-over bid is absolutely bloody typical. What a bunch of pen-pushing jobsworths. If the entire take-over bid is scuppered because of some objection of theirs then we deserve chapter and verse on why they are not happy. Fans are always the last to know about everything. Most times we just put up with it, but on this occasion it is not acceptable.
So we're allowed to have 3 spivs, then a total cvnt, owning the club, but there's a technicallity stopping the cvnt from getting rid?
