I'm no big fan of piss poor midweek racing, although I acknowledge that plenty would disagree. However the 3.40 at Wetherby is an intriguing affair - only 6 runners but no less competitive even so. My only chance of watching it is via bookie TV if my internet is on a going day, so I've thrown a small wager on Dedigout. A grade one winner in his day, now 12 years old and lurking at the foot of the handicap, he has been runner up his last two runs, beaten a head and a short head, conditions to suit so will be thereabouts. 7-2 a decent enough price as well.

For me he is better at 5F and he ran a stinker last time but he won at the track twice last year off higher marks and his fave pilot is back in the saddle. that 8 45 is a minefield of possibilities, stukova's info does sway me also , bethell had a winner at the last meeting at a decent price , needs a good pace , which he should get with midgeleys runners , not to mention ruth carr having three , perhaps the main danger might be roger fells runner, he's been having some big price winners here and southwell recently , Harome 16/1

mini boom Thats nice from Velvet Vision. Pretty much over-raced the whole trip but still had enough in the tank to pick them off at the death. Could be a filly worth following in this class. Nice little drift too
