Simeone is excellent but we won't get him.
Best choice: Ancelotti is a proven winner and won't settle for less. He works his players hard and would kick our lazy muppets into action or show them the door.
Would also happily settle for: Allegri, Loew, Jardim, or Conte.

    Ancelotti is a good manager.

Not sure he's know for being a task master lol. He's always been known as a soft touch laissez-faire man

Which just happens to coincide with us winning our last 2 games.

Loew would be a good fit for us if we could tempt him back into full time employment. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Allegri sounds very appealing. An adaptable manager. Enough of the predictable football.

Would be amazing if we could get him. He's a proper tactician and knows how to get the best out of his squad. We've got some really good players who I think would thrive under Allegri. Really hope the board are speaking to him now. There are rumours in the press about him wanting to come to Arsenal, but I'd take those with a healthy dose of scepticism at the moment.

    Allegri would be amazing.

Great tactically, likes to play two up top. His teams are solid defensively but still play good quality football.

They seriously need to get their finger out and do something. I can't see why we couldn't entice him to come to us. We can offer money, support and stability. They need to get from under Wengers shadow and plan for the future, somethin they've been incredibly slow at doing.

Touche. I feel more optimistic with the two new additions that we may have a chance of getting the best managers out there. Auba's acquisition has given me more confidence that could head hunt a top manager.

Yeah we are a project ripe for any top manager. Stability, good squad, big transfer kitty, a board that will back them, and a manager about to retire. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity for the right person. I think we are a very attractive proposition.

What does stability mean here? Genuinely want to understand this.

A board that won't sack him after 8 months.

I see. Wenger to me is a special case. Be interesting to see if they keep the same energy with a new face, especially if he gets off to a rough start.

Wenger has been a special case because he's had so much power over all aspects of the club, so it's been difficult to envisage life without him. But Gazidis has brought in Mislintat and Sanllehi and is dividing up the work between more people. So it looks like he's laying the foundations for a new approach that a new manager will slot into. There's talk of the new man being more of a coach, specifically concentrating on the player/tactics side of things and the recruitment/sales being managed by Mislintat and Sanllehi.

Whoever comes in though, will need time to adapt and I think our board will give them time (I think the fans will too) Personally I think we're going to need 2-3 seasons of strengthening and coaching new tactics before we can challenge for the title again.
