Apart from fourth official and Bert no one else is really pushing the Nicky Maynard rumours. Sky or the BBC havent said anything. Lets hope the rumours are true
is it not obvious? bristol will sell but not till deadline day as they know we are desperate and will pay. we would be best to not bid again till then. Its awkward, but its fast approaching and the best way/

look at it this way, if i was bristol, i would do exactly the same thing. They know we want him, they know we have little alternative. Hold out for Silly (aka £8m when we are VERY desperate). If it fail? Offload to newcastle etc for £5m. Its win win for them!
But if they do that they won't be able to use the money to do deals with other clubs to strengthen their team
