A great day yesterday and really pissed off to be back in the office this morning. Enjoy the day all Moho are on course today. I'm a fickle chap and as the lovely Rebecca Curtis seems to have a hit rather long career flat spot I'm considering replacing her in my affections with the adorable Amy Murphy. Mercian King ew for me today though I have had Last Goodbye antepost for the equally lovely Liz Doyle. Bigmartre in the opener and c'mon the Spinner.

Weird, all bookies bar bet365 have confirmed no rule 4 for douvan/apple's jade. Bet365 are usually the best, wonder if they'll revoke and follow suit

Just agonising over that race now pal. A bugger to decipher and probably the most competitive race of the week

Not confident about anything today. Modest punts on Frodon and Yanworth.

Top weight and bottom weight in the first two handicaps. Probably go skint after that <ok>

    I like a Thursday, I really do.

In the opener, well, Tizzard has a talented horse here in Finian's Oscar, if it jumps well, so that appeals most to me.

Sykes ( 2.10 ), and Matt Griffiths, owes me nothing, so I think, despite the weights rise, I will have a go E/W at 28/1 on Bet365. ( 5 places )

    Ooh, the Ryanair!!!
Un Dex Sceaux will likely take some beating, Cue Card will get the emotions purring, but have a look at this - Frodon " won his last two starts at the track, including a 17-length course-and-distance victory in a handicap on trials' day when Coo Star Sivola and Shantou Flyer were fourth and second. "(RacingPost)
And in testing ground too, so this might be the most surprising surprise of the festival so far.

On to the Stayers' - Wholestone has an impressive course record : 1211312 and Bet 365 will let me have 22/1 for 3 places or 16/1 for 4; very tempting for an each way thief such as me. Wonderful. The others are all hype, aren't they? Hmmm

The 4.10 Handicap Chase, blimey, what do you do with this? Yellow stars, Italian name, trainer with a story, massive syndicate as owner? Might as well use these selection criteria as any other. Well, my arrow has flown into Last Goodbye for this one.

In the 4.50, the favourite is a right hot pot hot shot, but I'm going with Maria's Benefit.

In the last, Millanisi Boy, why not?

I doubt I'll be writing much at all tomorrow; I have a very rare pass out so I'm off to Hickory's in Chester with Ekbalco and the Chester Races lads to watch Gold Cup day with a few beers and some excellent food.
Have a great day, enjoy, win lots and keep smiling.

    SimonJ.
