If it's 1/10 to make it, then taking into account the bookies profit margins, I'd say you'd get about 5/1 for them missing out. I don't think that's a great bet though.
Definitely won't be with the bookies. They bet to about 108-110% on football. If they offered the odds you are suggesting, the margins would be so small they'd make peanuts I know all this, as it's the industry I've worked in my whole working life
That's a fair enough price. I do think it's still a long shot us missing out, back it though if you fancy it. I did look at the fixtures and thought they favoured your lot to stay ahead of Spurs and get 4th, but the game against Swansea, kind of proves that easier fixtures on paper, don't give sides as big an advantage as you'd think. I think it's gonna go right to the wire with yourselves and Spurs, and Chelsea might well get dragged into it. Whoever misses out it will be a disaster for them in all honesty.
Not many bookies doing that market but here's what's available: https://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/not-to-finish-top-4 Best price on Utd is 7/1
Craziest thing is SKYBET actually offering a price on City!! It's 150/1, the tight bastards. Should be more like 1000/1
William Hill's Title odds. Manchester city 100/1 Manchester United 1/50 Chelsea 1/80 Liverpool 1/80 Tottenham 1/80 Arsenal 1/500
CL prices. City 3/1 Barca 4/1 Real 9/2 Bayern 19/4 Pool 10/1 Juve 12/1 Sevilla 50/1 Roma 66/1 https://www.oddschecker.com/football/champions-league/winner City price is silly given the CL pedigree of the other contenders. 10/1 for Pool is generous IMO It should be shorter (and i had a big wedge on us at 33/1 at beginning and want to lay some of it off depending on the draw)
man city have absolutely no chance, defence isnt close to good enough to win the CL, they get away with it in england but they wont at the top level
Anyone but Barca & Real. Even Juve can win it and finally Max can get his big move away from Turin. Hope we get Max before Goons.
Bookies are always biased when it comes to the English teams. Man City certainly shouldn't be favourites. They should be behind Barca, Real, Bayern and maybe Juve too Liverpool shouldn't be ahead of Juventus. Odds of 10-1 are a bit **** imo, they're is a long way too go still yet, was expecting more like 14-1 or 15-1
Conte Dig? First Jose Mourinho’s weird FA Cup jibe, and now Antonio Conte has got in on the act. When asked who he believes are favourites to lift the Champions League this season, Conte named Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Juventus as favourites. To be fair, I’d say most Liverpudlians would probably agree with Antonio on this one. The Reds, on paper, can’t match the quality this elite quartet cram into their squad - but they will certainly give them a real game of football. Quite surprised Conte didn’t mention Man City, though, with their scintillating Premier League form this season catching everybody’s eye. Let’s hope the Reds can prove the Italian wrong and make an unprecedented storm towards Champions League glory.
TBH that must be uk bookmakers taking lots of bets on city. Real at 9/2 and barca at 4/1 are extremely attractive odds. We all know juve are more than capable of being in final as well so 12/1 is ridiculous. 10/1 for us? hmmm.. i would perfer higher tbh. 33/1 odds at off is brave mate. 4/1 on barca is extremly attractive bet for me.
