Morning Wakey. Where would you draw the line for the end of season cut. Should they include Dallas, OKane, Berardi and Roofe? Look at the players Wolves got rid of end of last season. It was a complete cull.
Rad deflecting the blame. Another Cellino tactic. It seems he is accepting the PR bollix was a mistake. he should have realised it long before now. Problem is he sells snake oil for a living and we can look forward to the next attempt to bury the ****e in a sugar coating. Of I was PH I would be planning for a new jib in the summer there was no ringing endorsement of his position.
Read that Rad was disappointed that he has given players 4 yr contracts and they are not showing any faith or passion in return 4 yr contracts do not make a player a player has to earn his 4yr contract BIG COCK UP RAD
Think that time has arrived elland. Phillips has never really got under my skin like some other players (alioski, weildwald, silvestri) but he just looks completely lost now. He's turned into Alex Mowatt and like some have suggested he's only in the team cos he's a Leeds lad. From my perspective we need much much better in midfield and any Leeds team that gains promotion won't feature any of our current midfielders with the exception of Forshaw possibly.
and we took Wallace from them one of the best players in the championship right now tore you lot apart and Saville quality midfielder with 8 goals to his name so far Harris got in there like a shot
This question has been posed a few times before on here, but deserves another outing. How many fans think Phillips is great? How many think he is in the same league as Byrom and Taylor? Now think about Taylor and Byrom not playing or starting games because they cant get into a bad West Ham team and a battling average Burnley team. For me Phillips isnt even in the same league as those 2 so not good enough for what we need right now. Would love to have Byrom and Taylor back but are not Prem quality. Players we need to bring in have got to be good enough to play in the Prem. Saiz could do it with the right support and so too could Forshaw who has played there before.
Exactly what Ive been saying. Rad probably has no idea how expensive the exercise of disposing of that lot could prove to be
Sol Bamba scored in Cardiff City's 3-1 win at Brentford on Tuesday night. please log in to view this image Cardiff City edged another step closer to promotion to the Premier League with a 3-1 win over Brentford on Tuesday night. The Bluebirds have excelled under Neil Warnock this season, and their latest victory means they are now seven points clear of third-placed Aston Villa. One of the highlights from Tuesday's win was a superb volley from defender Sol Bamba, who took the ball down inside the area after pinball inside the penalty box, and rattled his shot into the far corner. please log in to view this image Bamba's opener set Cardiff on their way to victory, and he understandably earned huge praise from Caridff fans on Twitter after the final whistle at Griffin Park. Fans joked that Bamba is worth far more than Liverpool's January signing Virgil van Dijk, and praised him for a solid all-round display as well as his superb opening goal. please log in to view this image Chris Carey@cezcarey Sol bamba is the man! Cracking 3 points, I didnt see that result happening after the first 20mins we were awful. 7 points clear of play offs! please log in to view this image Benjamin Lintern@LinternBenjamin Honestly, if Virgil Van Dijk is £70 mil then Bamba is £140 mil #bamba #ccfc https://twitter.com/jakemooresport/status/973656135831080960 please log in to view this image Daniel Trebilcock@trebs93 Sol bamba you bald headed beauty!!!!! #ccfc #bluebirds please log in to view this image gazza@gaza_A7 Unbelievable strike from sol bamba. Van djik who. please log in to view this image #ccfc Bamba may be a hero at the Cardiff City Stadium, but Leeds fans will be left wondering what might have been had Garry Monk not discarded him in the summer of 2016. please log in to view this image Monk decided to release the Ivorian from his contract having decided that he wouldn't feature in his Leeds defence, having come off the back of an up-and-down campaign under Uwe Rosler and Steve Evans. However, the 33-year-old has been colossal in the heart of the Cardiff defence this season, helping them boast the Championship's meanest defence as the former Leicester City man nears promotion to the Premier League. With Leeds unable to settle on a partner for Pontus Jansson, fans will be left wondering how the pair could have solidified a leaky Leeds back line this season - but instead, Bamba is on the verge of promotion with Cardiff, and whilst former boss Monk made a number of mistakes, letting Bamba go for free rather than giving him a chance may just be top of his list of errors.
