I may have joined in with a few hundred of others at Doncaster away, shouting your not fit to wear the shirts at Mark Hatley's team but of course feel terrible about that now.
I never understood it . He always put in the effort. He was prone to the odd mistake but booing your own players is nothing short of EMBARRASSING !!
People saying Henriksen was judged as **** too quickly , are now doing the same announcing the new Gazza , he's had more ****e games than good so far , so let's see if he can keep up the improvement over a consistent period
Blimey you're wrong no you're wrong. Markus is ****ing ace Markus is ****ing ****. He's definitely struggled since arriving here with the physicality of the English game. His position was supposed to be as a number ten, which in DutchLand he can do. In England you've got to be pretty brave to play with your back to goal and he has struggled to do that. Skill wise I bet he's the best five a side player at the club. The last two games weve played two teams who aren't that physical, that suits him. He's not a natural cm who commands like an Ashbee is he. He's a good passer of the ball and good in the air. He was anonymous as was the rest of them against a physical millwall side. As Plt said he was rightly called when poor on here, I don't agree with booing our player at a game as some do. But when he was poor he didn't roll his sleeves up, he wasn't alone in that, and that's all fans want to se if it isn't coming off for you. I'm pleased he's done well. Cos it's not nice to have our silly ****s on your back and we do love a scapegoat.
I, too, am glad Henriksen is 'coming good'. I never could square the current player with what he must have had as skills/quality (for City to buy him). Chazz's contrasting the two leagues - Dutch and Championship/English - is a possibility; and so is the physicality of the oppo players. But maybe he's just finally getting to grips with our football? Does anyone else think that Harry Wilson might just be the spark, or the catalyst that's got the players going? He's obviously got skills (I've only seen clips) and he's full of energy.
i think wilson finally gives us that good balance between attack and defence grosicki should be embarrassed of himself, meant to be a full international and a guy on loan is having 10x the effect that he has all season henriksson is certainly not afraid to get stuck in recently, made some great tackles in the last couple of games and that goal last night was a beauty he must be buzzing birmingham lost 7 league games in a row.. will be an interesting match
I’m pretty sure I’m the only person who has said he was judged too quickly and yet I’ve made zero comment about him being even good, never mind the new Gazza. I even pointed out he might still prove to be ****. So your post is an odd one.
I’ve supported Henriksen all season, things said about him have been ridiculous. He has a languid style and he is often marked by opposition players, they seem to be his heinous crimes. He is a talented player that is gaining confidence in a previously struggling side.
Sterling has been the most vocal / positive-finger-happy in terms of Henriksen, he was excited about him before he signed.
There is plenty of comment about it across other mediums discussing Hull City , I just like to reply on here and assume they will find their way across to the relevant areas
Supporters can only comment on what they see on the park. Hendrickson was a laughing stock on every City website I know all season. Yes,he perhaps has taken more time to settle,we shall see,but whilst I am genuinely over the moon with our recent form and of course Hendeickson's of late,I will reserved judgment on him,and every other player for that matter until the end of the season. So there...
Two things. Firstly, I thought Adkins would take us down but clearly he has proven me wrong, and I am ****ing delighted. Secondly, how far we have fallen we are now rejoicing at the fact we are likely to not get relegated from the Championship. #ALLAMSOUT
It's not a coincidence that our recent improvement in form coincides with dropping Meyler - I appreciate no- one wants to admit it but it really is a fact - when Meyler played it was 12 against 10 with his success rate of passing to the opposition - there was never any doubt that Henriksen was the better player it was just that some refused to see any wrong in the FIFA kid
Would you take a point at St Andrews or do you gamble knowing Brum have lost 7 on the bounce and we're playing well..?
