No. We topped our group. And went out very narrowly to a side who have made it to 2 of the last 3 CL finals. No shame in that.
No. We failed to respond quickly enough to a tactical change. That’s not bottling it. Anyway, let’s see what you Chavs have to say when Barca’s finished with you!..?
Lol . I'm not expecting us to go through though although if we were 1 up with 2 away goals at the bridge against Barca and lost I would agree we bottled it
Surely even the most arduous Spurs fan can accept they bottled it big style against Juve? 3-2 ahead with 3/4 of the tie done meaning Juve needed two more. You outplayed them for 3/4 of the tie yet lost because you're so Spursy.
Yep it was classic Spursy that. They'll probably get to the semi-final of the FA cup, be winning 1-0 with 15 mins to go and go all Spursy again.
No one said shame more a manager with no tactical nous of big games. Two away goals and 1-0 up = BOTTLED
Doesn't make sense? Has Herr Knee Jerk hacked your account! If we were winning and lost you would have had a case but alas no cigar Pedro.
Spurs have definitely got the bottlers tag, which is something they are only going to shake off by winning a pot. For all the plaudits they receive, they are still a club who haven't won anything for a decade, and even then only have a couple of league cups to show for the last 27 years. Even Wigan and Portsmouth have had more recent success.
You are mixing up bottle and experience. Yes we were naïve, but the performance was brave and so nearly went to extra time. You have to gain experience and we will have learned loads. Edit: What NSIS said
That's funny, you were experienced enough to beat Real Madrid this season. It rubbish, Spurs blew a big opportunity to progress by losing their heads when the pressure got cranked up.
I'll need some time to understand your carefully explained and intricate argument. You provide a cohesive and nuanced set of debating points that I cannot dismiss without further thought. Or.... DID NOT!
