Okay maybe 'anyone' was wrong term but I don't think many genuinely think we're 100% down, taking posts made in the heat of the moment isn't a great indicator really either tbh. I'd still say it's more likely than not as things stand though.
Hardly watched any motd’s this season but actually really looking forward to watching this performance & hopefully the pundits ripping into us. We are close to a disgrace.
We've just been installed as third-likeliest for the drop by a lot of the bookmakers. We're officially relegation favourites.
I think that is the point I am making. I don’t underestimate the trouble we are in but I think that the “heat of the moment” comments are unhelpful to say the least.
1 win in 17. ****ing hell. I knew it but when you see it written & it’s just ridiculous. Surely there cannot be 3 worst teams in the league regardless. MP has to go & take a punt on Davies.
They are probably only reacting on bets made today after our result. Can see us, West Ham, Stoke and Palace with pretty much the same chance of going down, not much in it at all. West Brom aren't included as they've got next to no chance of getting out of it.
They’re a disgrace for all non football things. We’re a disgrace for football things. We had great players, managers, were just off top 4, a final, all quite recently. Now look at this utter shambles.
Unless I am wrong, If Stoke lose on Monday, we aren't any worse off than this morning. In fact, we are perversely, better off. The other teams have one less game to get the points too I am worried about relegation and think there is a huge chance we may go down, but I'll reserve my meltdown for the City game #glasshalffull
Will the players be up for it? They weren't up for our biggest game of the season last week, and definitely not the game today.
Not even a remote chance. As far as I am aware, the only time points have been deducted for fan conduct was more than 20 years ago with Brighton, and that took another pitch invasion after they were warned for an incident where their fans caused a match to be abandoned.
Agreed. Could have done without getting beat today by our relegation rivals though. That and giving them a much needed confidence boost while taking a bit of a hit ourselves. Still 8 games to go
We probably should have seen it coming. If you sell your best players every season, you'll pay the price in the end. It's inevitable. We just got away with it for a while thanks to some surprisingly succesful replacements, but you can't hope to keep doing that. I thought we were ****ed after Pochettino and half the squad left, but then we somehow hit the ground running the following september, with a football legend as our manager. Since then though, we haven't come close to replacing the players who have left. We're still in the FA Cup though. How the **** has that happened?
