Fantastic game, most entertaining watching a game at the kc has been for ages! The realisation that Marshall will be our no1 next season is a scary one though
Ahhh what a great show of character. Sort out the protection that Marshall deserves and needs, and we'll be romping over the enemy for the rest of the season.
I've, against my better judgement, just read this whole thread. Comedy gold some of our posters. Poor lads not had a decent run, but comes back and inspires us to a 4-3 win. I'd make him captain.
Of course you would. Your trolling used to be so much better. You’re losing your touch, Happy. That makes me sad.
Need to see highlights and replays of the first penalty before slagging off Marshall too much. Can't blame the bloke for not saving 2 penalties and he seemed to be let down by his defenders for their proper goal.
The penalty was ridiculous. Could have done better with the second. Made two key saves to keep us in it at 3-2 and prevent an equaliser at 4-3. He wasn't that bad.
I thought I saw the linesman tapping his upper arm as though he was saying it was a handball on the defender's part (Larsson?). Inside the box, outside? I want to see it again. My first instinct was to think it all happened outside the box.
Offer Hernandez £50,000 a week. For ****'s sake. Hard pill to swallow that he's going to leave for nothing in a matter of months. I know we've got to 'cut our cloth accordingly', but who are we going to get to replace him if Ehab isn't going to invest? He said he's saving investment for the Summer, but is that Championship investment or what he calls investment?
Ffs I have only just seen this result. Trust me to miss this classic. Well done boys. Chuffed as ****. I was stuck in London watcing a play called bank robbery or summat.
Really enjoyed that game. What stands out is that those players were determined from the off that they would not lose today. Just shown today that they can play good football at times. Bet Wilson will go to bed happy tonight, must feel great everyone chanting his name, wonder if Campbell has had a word with him about how good it can be to be a City hero when you're a talented loanee. Was not confident in Marshall so a few nervy minutes towards the end. Honestly when that final whistle went I felt so happy I could have cried, felt like we'd won the FA cup or something. Such a long time since I felt that good after a game. Just hope the next game isn't a let down. Need that atmosphere every home game.
Really odd game. The only time I had any doubt we would win was in the last 10 minutes when we were actually leading! Bowen/ Hernandez and Wilson looked potent. Best I've seen Irvine and Henricksen in City shirts.
