At the prices i favour Friday Night Lights in the Imperial Cup. 15/2. Think he has the opportunity to overturn the form with Newlands runner and that may be enough.
14:25 Sandown - Master of Irony e/w (Think I've had the winner once or twice in the past, so I'll have another bash in this lotto race!).
I've gone for The Dubai Way in the comp FP - up only 4lbs for winning on handicap debut carrying 12-07 at Warwick on soft/heavy. I think that is very reasonable and he is one who will not be inconvenienced by underfoot conditions. Certainly more to come from him.
The yard think they have a few with with chances today Florida so I wouldnt put you off your selection. I pretty much ruled the top three out as I think they have it all to do as novices carrying that much weight in todays going. I like Run To Milan and being a Milan he will relish the ground. The one that bothers me is Dashing Perk, I think Newland has been very clever getting a couple of pound off this ones back, ran him at the wrong track last time and over the wrong trip the time before! Plotted up????
Personally I would have gone for Call Me Lord/ Maybe Hendo knows he can give the fav a stone? Wouldn't bet in this race though. Looks a nightmare. Good luck to those who have had a bet
Turtle Wars for me in that 1.50. Just won the maiden. Now has James Bowen on top for handicap debut. The yard use him as a strike jockey. 14/1 is on the generous side.
Friday, 16 March 2018 - 2:10 (Early closer) at Cheltenham Randox Health County Handicap Hurdle (Grade 3) (2m1f) 33/1 Friday, 16 March 2018 - 4:50 (Early closer) at Cheltenham Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle (2m4½f)
I won't be of any help but having had a quick look at the race, my initial thought was The Dubai Way (ew) as it's been winning and is improving. However if I was having a very small sporting bet I think I would go for **** I'm too late but it would have been Dashing Perk and Jabulani
Tempted to just delete that . Good job one didn't win though - can't think what I would have been called
If you use the ATR website for your studying you will know they advise on the draw. Not for the first time they have it totally wrong at Wolves saying for the 2.05 that high numbers are best, when clearly a high draw sticks you right wide out. That said Big Country wasn't too inconvenienced! Ok ... Silver Streak time ............. ATR say there is no draw bias here
