Beat me to it Paul.... Sorry Spurf - I'll try and source it for you elsewhere. I only have the freebie option. But it's worth a read, trust me!
I really like the way that Pochettino plays down any attempts to praise him. I get the feeling that it's all part of his ongoing attempts to improve as much as possible in as many ways as he can. Bielsa's influence is still strong with him.
It may well be coincidental, but arranging this sort of event a couple of days after the CL disappointment is opportune, as it will help the squad stop feeling sorry for themselves.
Harry Kane's injury is obviously just a diversion. He appears to have adopted the pseudonym Liam Livingstone and is looking to play for England v New Zealand in the First Test on 22nd March. please log in to view this image
And by the way, Dan Levy has been playing well in the Six Nations! Versatile bunch, these Spurs people!
Ken Dodd departs us. Even he couldn't hold on to see the next time the Poool finish above Spurs in the PL. < Dodd do doh don't dey do >
He did have some good one-liners. "I haven't spoken to the mother in law for 18 months. I don't like to interrupt her." R.I.P
What a fine day What a fine day What a fine day for going down to your local supermarket, taking all your clothes off jumping into a trolley and shouting 'how's this for a special offer madam!'
"I used to think I was marvellous in bed until I discovered all my girlfriends suffered from asthma."
Hubert de Givenchy has also left us. What? It's not like Ken Dodd ever made something as iconic as this... please log in to view this image
Ken Dodd had the last laugh. By marrying his girlfriend 2 days before he died he's reduced death duties to a nominal amount. Brilliant!!
I think we need to follow one or two rules, if we're going to use VAR at all: use VAR for what VAR can decide, like offside and whether a goal occurred, and/or use it to overturn indisputably wrong decisions. In our game, the naivete of using it to plummet down every murky rabbit hole was shocking, the more so since the process was opaque to the customers.
I enjoyed that A really good team then, but was destined to go downhill really quickly. In a season or two Hoddle would have joined them too. I guess we lost Chivers, Peters and Gilzean fairly soon after and replaced them with inferior talents (sorry RCL). And how good was Phil Beal, really underrated defender iirc.
