The you scratch my back I'll scratch yours likes are the stupidest thing about this site, it's best to opt out of the arse licking index because it means **** all. You do realise the only reason they do likes on forums and try and make a big thing of them is to try and get people to post more so that more adverts can load or they get more page views.
easy to say that with your 1/3 like ratio i must have the worst likes to post ratio on the whole site
Spot on. The guy is right to stick up for Clark but tagging the whole fanbase because he's seen a couple of twats being silly bastards is ridiculous. For some reason it's common around football though. People say "x club's fans did this or that" when in reality it's one or two people. Everyone knows it's wrong to label a whole religion for example when one nutter does something, but for football it's perfectly normal for some reason.
He's spot on though. If you're slating Max Clark in this scenario, you're a ****ing ****. The problem with the tweet is that he's tarring all City fans with the same brush, when it's a puny minority he should be focusing on.
Max clark is ****e though If he was from slough, he'd be ****e Being from hull doesn't excuse being ****
Which again makes no sense If players are immune from critiscm unless you've played pro football then we'd be left down to gary neville to judge everything
so he wasn't spot on as some seem to think - he was totally spot off and now accepts he was a ****ing idiot and has now apologised - accepted but next time think before you twat
Firstly I agree that people shouldn’t be having a go at Clark directly on Twitter. He gives his all and shows heart. When players are out on the pitch they should also be fully supported. However, just because he is a local lad doesn’t mean he is immune to criticism, and the fact is that he clearly isn’t good enough. I’m not sure how he got that player of the month award but whoever chose it definitely hasn’t been watching the same performances as me, nor anyone else on this board’s MOTM threads. The idea that you can’t criticise a player if you haven’t played at that level is ridiculous, it would be like saying that when you go to a restaurant you can’t judge the chef based on the food you were served unless you’d worked as a chef yourself. Tarring all city fans with the same brush and essentially saying that we deserve the Allams is stupid. Bowen liking the tweet and therefore endorsing it is more stupid still. Despite everything around the club the support for the team itself has always been strong. Liking the tweet is disrespectful to majority of the fans that are fully behind the players when they are on the pitch.
Fair enough from Bowen, he should have considered the full content of the post before endorsing it though.
