Tell him this ...... you could learn a lot from the young man you let slip through your fingers. (It's a big COULD).

He will be respected, probably loved by hundreds of thousands of Liverpool fans all over the World. He shows humility, he is not above himself, he is acutely aware of how such a simple gesture will endear that young lad and no doubt many of his family and others forever towards Liverpool.

Compare and contrast with yourself, who will forever be despised by a few thousand locally in Hull. Arrogant, bullying, self important and ignorant of the harm your insensitive actions will forever deter generations of Hull City supporters.

Just read this on Yahoo & thought it was an amazingly unselfish gesture. It also made me laugh with his comment about no one wanting the Left Back shirt!
