Hello Ron, I think you have an error with one of my bets for Cheltenham. Demopolis is not going to run and you already gave me back the money, here is the message: https://www.not606.com/threads/punter-of-the-year-betting-competition.356805/page-44#post-11426860 I take this opportunity to tell you that I believe that neither Aione nor Kalondra are going to run in the races that I have put, if you want you can cancel them.
Correct Pilgrim. Just checked and I had voided the bet. That automatically returned your stake. It's the only Cheltenham bet I have voided. I'll void any others on request if the selection is definitely out of the race. I might as well void my Cracking Smart bet I suppose
You are really getting stuck into this one stick (33/1 and 40/1). Down to 10s with WH. Only Corals still offering 25/1 with everyone else 12s or lower. Good luck. Have you got real money on it? Would be a nice touch.
Fingers crossed. Strange it doesn't show up in the Top 10 Steamers. I'd have thought 66/1 down to 10s qualified as a steamer
Some ante post bets Saturday 31st March - 16:05 Meydan: Longines Dubai Sheema Classic (Group 1) 5/2 Cracksman, £200 win Tuesday 19th June - 15:40 Ascot: King's Stand Stakes (Group 1) 4/1 Battaash, £100 win 4/1 Lady Aurelia, £100 win 8/1 Marsha, £50 win Saturday 28th July - 15:35 Ascot: King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes (Sponsored By Qipco) (Group 1) 2/1 Enable, £400 win 4/1 Cracksman, £250 win Sunday 7th October - 15:05 Longchamp: Qatar Prix De L'arc De Triomphe (Group 1) 3/1 Enable, £200 win 5/1 Cracksman, £150 win Please note. I haven't recorded these bets yet as they seem to be taking too much advantage of the NRNB rule for this comp. Maybe the NRNB rule should not apply after Cheltenham or maybe only apply if restricted to one selection per race. Any views on this? EDIT. NRNB rule removed from ante post bets from now on and the above bets not accepted. Earlier ante post bets not affected
We all have the same rules to comply or die to....so why not? Let me know when you open an online bookies Ron, and I'll sign up!!
I will be out of this very soon Ron so maybe my opinion doesnt count but from the outset when you started taking ante post bets NRNB I thought it was ridiculous. NRNB prices for the last month have been shorter than the NR done your dough comparison but people have been able to take longer prices than are truly available, just my twopennorth.
Stick makes a fair point, Ron. I placed my Arc bet (which isn't shown above) without any thought of NRNB - I'm so old school, that option wasn't even thought of when I started following horses But how to address it, now that a goodly number of bets have been placed? Take it out completely and offer to void bets on request seems the easiest route! And incidentally, I'd be letting mine ride
I hadn't given it much thought stick to be honest. Just thought it would be slightly more generous than the real bookies. It was only when I started looking at the long range odds (re my post above) that it hit me. Also backing the same horse in 2 or more races when it can only run in one would also be taking advantage of the current NRNB rule From now on (wef from my latest ante post bet above) all ante post bets will not be NRNB. For bets already placed on the NRNB understanding they will stand. Regard it as a promotion that has now expired My bets in the post above will therefore not stand (ie cancelled)
NRNB no longer applies to ante post bets Chan. Do you want this bet to stand? IGNORE NRNB odds are allowed where on offer
