i dont think its solely down to wanting its down to being capable of taking it. I think you are right in the assumption that Klopp will give him every chance of taking it if he is up to it. Frankly there are not many top top keepers around. cheslea's one isn't trying to hard right now and wants to go to madrid Utd are going to may anything to de gea to keep him Oblak has signed a new deal Neuer is at bayern Barca seem happy with ter stegen Real want a keeper, so this means chelsea will be in the market for one shortly. Allison is a now or never move imo. theres too many clubs who will have no difficulty parting with 50mil. Klopp might well delay this and miss out. If he dealys hoping karius shows for for next year and he doesn't... well..
maybe... or maybe we'd have won 4-1. we went to sleep after second goal and cruised. who knows. I couldn't call it a 2 point winning save there. If it had been 1-0 win fair enough. I agree its a save at a vital time and that. i take that point but well... we would have spanked them if bothered imo.
You just don't like him. Keep up though and you may have a @Zanjinho jinx like the one he has with Chelsea reject Salah

no its not that. It's that I'm not going to start awarding a guy world class status overnight next thing we'll have a number of points won by keeper chart with karius at top above de gea etc. I've said many times the guy is doing ok. I've pointed out how our league record shows clearly goals conceded v bottom half is not an issue at all (0.4 goals per game) I have pointed squarely to the goals conceded v top sides and i have said oh about 5 times lets see this guy and vvd v some top sides. Evidence: 4-3 v city. did karius make a difference? not really either way. 2-2 v spurs. flapped one cross out and as I have said got unlucky that wanyama hits a shot he's never hitting again. I want to see if this is real improvement or just waiting for the clanger. I have openly said he's not made an error all is fine... but i feel the real tests are to come yet.
It's not really about playing favourites, it's about what's best for our team. All decent keepers can make good saves - Mignolet has made plenty - but in the long run it's the mistakes that they are judged on. Mig started really well, but errors crept in and ultimately there were just too many of them. Karius needs to show that he has fewer of those in him over a sustained period before he can be considered enough of an improvement. His reaction when he does drop a clanger will be vital.
yeah i can remember sander westerveld. one bad clearing kick and he fell to pieces. still won a treble but he was never solid
On second thoughts I don't think astro could play FF. You're only allowed 3 players from the team you support and I can't see him choosing any opposition players
could pick 3 from southampton we should buy? thats 6. then 3 least bad everton players. he knows them like the back of his hand. I suppose 3 city players wouldn't be awful to have in.
#bentasfuck just like FIFA and you end up with jokers like this in your squad please log in to view this image
Ah, but I never said I didn't like Salah as a player. I wasn't overly happy with spending so much on a player that's only performed in **** leagues and that he was a #chelseareject too. In hindsight, the fee proved not too be very high because transfer fees rocketed (again) shortly after he signed
I think people are too quick to react either way to someone having a good or bad run of games. Karius was written off after playing hardly any games last season, now he's being talked up after a similar amount of games.
It's the same with the team as a whole. Lose against Swansea and we're **** and should get rid of 2/3rds of the squad - couple of good games and we're back to being world-beaters. Makes me laugh.
